Peta topogrsfi memiliki fungsi untuk menggambarkan permukaan bumi yang telah melalui proses pengukuran topografi. Data yang dimuat dalam peta topografi ini meliputi data kontur dan detil. Data detil inipun terbagi menjadi dua yaitu detil buatan manusia dan detil alami, pada garis kontur disini menggambarkan suatu ketinggian dari permukaan tanah yang wilayah nya telah di lakukan proses pengukuran. Garis kontur ini mewakili satu ketinggian yang sama, ketinggian ini diambilkan dari titik yang telah diambil datanya dari hasil pengukuran berupa koordinat z. Pembuatan peta topografi ini dilaksanakan dengan bantuan software AutoCad Map 3D 2009, proses ini menggunakan software tersebut karena software ini memiliki kemampuan membaca data koordinat dan keterangan titik dengan baik serta pengolahan yang mudah serta penggunaan untuk proses digitasi pun juga lebih mudah. Tahapan dalam pembuatan peta topografi ini pun meliputi pengecekan data koordinat dengan format (.txt) agar saat proses memasukan data bisa lancar tanpa ada hambatan, lalu dilanjutkan dengan perubahan tampilan titik koordinat agar mudah saat membaca data di AutoCad. Setelah ttik koordinat berhasil di stampilkan maka dilanjutkan proses pembuatan kontur dan digitasi untuk memberi informasi pada detil situasi yang ada dalam wilayah terukur agar pada saat peta topografi selesai dibuat, informasi yang ada didalamnya mencakup seluruh area yang terukur. Hasil dari proses tersebut yaitu menjadi �Peta Topografi Hotel Le Temple Borobudur� dengan skala 1 :1000 Hasil dari pengolahan data koordinat topografi ini menjadi peta topografi dengan skala 1 : 1000 serta pada peta mencakup isi penting berupa kontur dan detil dari Kawasan terukur. Pada hasil peta juga sudah sama dengan peta contoh yang telah ada sebagai acuan dalam pengerjaan Tugas Akhir ini.

Topographic maps have a function to describe the earth's surface that has gone through the process of topographical measurements. The data contained in this topographic map includes contour and detailed data. Even this detailed data is divided into two, namely man-made details and natural details, the contour line here describes a height from the ground surface whose area has been measured. This contour line represents the same height, this height is taken from the point where the data has been taken from the measurement results in the form of z coordinates. The making of this topographic map was carried out with the help of AutoCad Map 3D 2009 software, this process uses the software because this software has the ability to read coordinate data and point descriptions well as well as easy processing and use for the digitization process is also easier. The stages in making this topographic map also include checking the coordinate data with the format (.txt) so that the process of entering data can run smoothly without any obstacles, then proceed with changing the display of the coordinates for easy reading of data in AutoCad. After the point coordinates are successfully stamped, the process of contouring and digitizing is continued to provide detailed information on the situation in the measured area so that when the topographic map is completed, the information contained in it covers the entire measured area. The result of this process is the �Hotel Le Temple Borobudur Topographic Map� with a scale of 1:1000 The results of processing this topographic coordinate data into a topographic map with a scale of 1: 1000 and the map includes important contents in the form of contours and details of the measured area. The map results are also the same as the existing sample maps as a reference in the work of this Final Project.
