Indonesia memiliki kekayaan sumber daya alam yang melimpah dan menjadi bekal utama dalam pengembangan pariwisata sebagai sumber penghasil devisa negara. Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) merupakan salah satu provinsi tujuan yang banyak diminati oleh wisatawan domestik maupun mancanegara. Industri perhotelan menjadi salah satu jenis akomodasi pendukung dalam mobilitas kepariwisataan yang membutuhkan departement seperti Purchasing Department yang mengatur terkait pengadaan dan pembeliaan barang pendukung. Sedangkan Inventory Turnover Ratio Report adalah sebuah laporan rasio perputaran persediaan barang hotel. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui proses pengadaan barang serta berbagai kendala yang dihadapi dalam setiap prosesnya, dan juga mengetahui Monthly Inventory Turnover Ratio Report selama pandemi Covid-19. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif campuran (kualitatif kuantitatif). Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu Purchasing Department The Alana Hotel Yogyakarta memiliki tiga sistem pengadaan barang dengan melalui Sistem Kontrak, Sistem Kontan, dan Sistem Harian. Melalui ketiga proses tersebut memiliki kendala yang berasal dari kekurangan karyawan di Purchasing Department (urgent staff) mengakibatkan kelalaian setiap divisi dalam menangani setiap prosedur pengadaan. Selain itu, Monthly Inventory Turnover Ratio Report Selama Pandemi Covid-19 yang mengalami fluktuatif dan ketidakstabilan dalam kurun waktu satu tahun. Faktor yang perlu diperbaiki salah satunya dengan melakukan rekruitmen staff purchasing department untuk memperbaiki sistem organisasi dan melengkapi divisi purchasing department, mengadakan staff training, dan melakukan meeting internal untuk memantau hasil dari perkembangan Monthly Inventory Turnover Ratio Report.

Indonesia has a wealth of abundant natural resources and is the main provision in the development of tourism as a source of foreign exchange-earners. The Special Region of Yogyakarta is one of the destination provinces that is in great demand by domestic and foreign tourists. The hospitality industry is one type of supporting accommodation in tourism mobility that requires a department such as the Purchasing Department which regulates the procurement and purchase of supporting goods. While the Inventory Turnover Ratio Report is a report on the inventory turnover ratio of hotel goods. The purpose of this study is to determine the process of procurement of goods and various obstacles faced in each process and also to know the Monthly Inventory Turnover Ratio Report during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used is a mixed descriptive research method (quantitative-qualitative). The results of this study are that the Purchasing Department of The Alana Hotel Yogyakarta has three procurement systems through the Contract System, Cash System, and Daily System. Through these three processes, some obstacles come from the shortage of employees in the Purchasing Department (urgent staff) resulting in the negligence of each division in handling every procurement procedure. In addition, the Monthly Inventory Turnover Ratio Report During the Covid-19 Pandemic, which experienced fluctuating and instability within a year. One of the factors that need to be improved is by recruiting purchasing department staff to improve the organizational system and completing the purchasing department division, holding staff training, and holding internal meetings to monitor the results of the development of the Monthly Inventory Turnover Ratio Report.
