SISTEM PENDUKUNG KEPUTUSAN PEMILIHAN BIDANG KEAHLIAN UNTUK PELAKSANAAN PROGRAM LATIHAN PROFESI MENGGUNAKAN METODE AHP (STUDI KASUS: PROGRAM STUDI PENDIDIKAN ILMU KOMPUTER UNIVERSITAS PENDIDIKAN INDONESIA)

Pemilihan bidang keahlian selama pelaksanaan Program Latihan Profesi (PLP) yang tepat untuk mahasiswa Progran Studi Pendidikan Ilmu Komputer Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia merupakan suatu hal yang sangat penting karena dapat memaksimalkan kemampuan mahasiswa. Dalam pemilihan bidang keahlian PLP untuk mahasiswa, koordinator PLP sering kali mengalami kesulitan untuk menentukan bidang keahlian yang sesuai dengan kemampuan yang dimiliki mahasiswa sehingga mahasiswa tidak bisa mengaplikasikan kemampuan yang dimilikinya secara optimal. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut diperlukan suatu sistem komputer berupa sistem pendukung keputusan yang dapat membantu menentukan kesesuaian mahasiswa yang dibutuhkan oleh bidang keahlian PLP. Penelitian ini bertujuan membangun sebuah sistem untuk mendukung keputusan pemilihan bidang keahlian PLP mahasiswa dengan menggunakan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP); metode ini digunakan untuk penentuan bobot kriteria dan sub kriteria dari setiap alternatif bidang keahlian PLP. Berdasarkan hasil akhir dari sistem pendukung keputusan pemilihan bidang keahlian ini setiap mahasiswa hanya mendapatkan satu rekomendasi bidang keahlian PLP dari perangkingan akhir dimana bidang keahlian yang mendapatkan hasil nilai akhir tertinggi dijadikan sebagai rekomendasi bidang keahlian untuk dipilih oleh mahasiswa dalam pelaksanaan PLP. Penggunaan metode AHP pada sistem sangat efisien dikarenakan sesuai dengan kondisi lapangan yaitu mempertimbangkan parameter Ketrampilan mahasiswa dalam pemilihan bidang keahlian PLP. Disamping itu dilakukan juga pengujian usability terhadap sistem yang dikembangkan dengan menggunakan elemen observasi efektivitas, efisiensi, dan kepuasan. Pengujian usability sistem dilakukan terhadap Tim Koordinator PLP dan diperoleh rerata tingkat usability sistem adalah 97,46%.

The selection of the right field of expertise during the implementation of the Professional Training Program (PTP) for Computer Science Education students of the Indonesia University of Education is very important because it can maximize students' abilities. In selecting the PTP field of expertise for students, the PTP coordinator often had difficulty on determining the field of expertise that matches the abilities of the student so that students could not apply their abilities optimally. To overcome this problem, a support system is needed to help determine the suitability of students required by the PTP field of expertise. This research is aimed at developing a system to support the decision of choosing students' field of expertise for performing PTP. The method used in this research is Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP); this method is used to determine the weight of both the criteria and sub-criteria for each PTP field of expertise alternative, up to rank the field of expertise alternatives for each student. Based on the final results of the decision support system for the selection of field of expertise, each student only get one recommendation for the PTP field of expertise from final ranking where field of expertise with the highest final score is selected as a recommendation to be chosen by students as their field of expertise in performing PTP. The use of AHP method in the system is very efficient because it is in accordance with the conditions that happened in real life, in which considering the students' skills parameter in selecting the field of expertise in performing PTP. The usability of the system that is developed using the observation elements of effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction also being tested. The system usability test is carried out on with PTP Coordinator Team and the average usability level of the system is 97.46%.
