Validitas Konkuren Tes Kognitif AJT terhadap Prestasi Akademik Siswa

Tes kognitif AJT merupakan tes kognitif untuk anak pertama di Indonesia. Dalam menjalankan fungsi ukurnya, tes kognitif AJT perlu divalidasi secara konkuren dengan instrumen lain yang relevan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat sejauhmana kesesuaian skor tes kognitif AJT dengan prestasi akademik siswa. Prestasi akademik siswa meliputi kemampuan matematika dan kemampuan sains yang terdapat dalam TIMSS. Data berupa skor tes kognitif AJT yang meliputi 8 subtes dan skor kemampuan matematika serta skor kemampuan sains. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 60 siswa dengan rentang usia 12-15 tahun. Seluruh data penelitian berupa data sekunder yang diambil dari UPAP UGM. Hasil analisis keseluruhan menunjukkan bahwa tes kognitif AJT mempunyai kesesuaian yang tinggi terhadap kemampuan matematika dan kemampuan sains. Koefisien korelasi yang dihasilkan sebesar 0,663 untuk kemampuan matematika dan 0,607 untuk kemampuan sains. Jika dilihat setiap subtes pada tes kognitif AJT, maka subtes Complex Working Memory mempunyai kesesuaian paling tinggi dengan kemampuan matematika. Sedangkan kesesuaian paling tinggi dengan kemampuan sains adalah subtes Number Sequence.

AJT cognitive test is first cognitive test for child in Indonesia. In carrying out its measuring function, AJT cognitive test needs to be validated concurrently with other relevant instruments. The purpose of this study was to see what extent the AJT cognitive test scores matched with students academic achievement. Student academic achievements include math ability and science abilities contained in TIMSS. The data are in the form of AJT cognitive test scores which include 8 subtests and scores for math and science abilities. The research subjects were 60 students aged 12-15 years. All research data is in the form of secondary data taken from UPAP UGM. The results of the overall analysis show that the AJT cognitive test has a high suitability for mathematical and scientific abilities. The resulting correlation coefficient is 0.663 for math ability and 0.607 for science ability. If you look at each subtest on the AJT cognitive test, the Complex Working Memory subtest has the highest compatibility with math ability. Meanwhile, the highest compatibility with scientific ability is the Number Sequence subtest.
