Penelitian "Standar Sosial" dalam Series Black Mirror Episode "Nosedive" Ditinjau dari Teori Simulacra Jean Baudrillard dilatarbelakangi oleh perkembangan teknologi yang begitu pesat seperti yang digambarkan dalam serial televisi Black Mirror episode "Nosedive". Simulacra Baudrillard dijadikan sebagai alat untuk mengakomodir perosalan sosial yang diciptakan masyarakat "Nosedive". Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan rating sebagai alat yang membentuk standar sosial dalam dunia "Nosedive" serta menganalisis standar sosial dalam dunia "Nosedive" menggunakan teori Simulacra Jean Baudrillard. Jenis penelitian ini kualitatif melalui studi kepustakaan. Dengan menggunakan model penelitian mengenai masalah aktual. Metode penelitian ini adalah hermeneutis filosofis, sedangkan unsur metodis yang digunakan meliputi: deskripsi, interpretasi, induksi dan heuristik. Pemahaman yang ditemukan kemudian digeneralisasi untuk membentuk suatu kesimpulan mengenai analisis fenomena yang terjadi dalam dunia "Nosedive" menggunakan teori Simulacra Baudrillard terhadap kehidupan dewasa ini. Hasil yang dicapai penelitian ini sebagai berikut: Pertama, fitur teknologi futuristik dan sistem rating adalah kepanjangan tangan suatu bentuk kekuasaan yang berperan dalam mengatur identitas individu serta merupakan pembentuk standar sosial masyarakat dalam dunia "Nosedive". Kedua, interaksi dalam dunia "Nosedive" telah menciptakan realitas baru yang menyembunyikan fakta bahwa realitas sebenarnya adalah sesuatu yang nyata. Baudrillard berpendapat saat ini tanda telah memodifikasi sistem pemaknaan sehingga simulacra murni terlahir dan mendominasi era media. Sebagai suatu serial televisi, alur cerita serta tokoh di dalam "Nosedive" telah menawarkan suatu resolusi pembebasan terhadap jeratan simulacra yang jalan keluarnya tidak dijelaskan oleh Baudrillard secara terperinci.

Research on "Social Standards in the Black Mirror Series "Nosedive" in terms of Jean Baudrillard's Simulacra Theory" is motivated by the rapid development of technology as depicted in the Black Mirror television series on "Nosedive" episode. Simulacra Baudrillard used as a tool to accommodate social problems in "Nosedive" society. The purpose of this study is to describe rating as a tool that forms social standards in the "Nosedive" world and to analyze social standards in the "Nosedive" world using Jean Baudrillard's Simulacra theory. This type of research is qualitative through literature study. Research model based on the actual problem. This research method is philosophical hermeneutic, while the methodical elements is description, interpretation, induction and heuristics. The understanding found is then generalized to form a conclusion regarding the analysis of phenomena that occur in the "Nosedive" world using Baudrillard's Simulacra theory in a world of today. The results achieved in this study are as follows: First, the features of futuristic technology and ranking systems are the long arm of a form power that plays a role in proving individual identity and forms social standards for society in the "Nosedive" world. Second, The interaction in the "Nosedive" world has created a new reality which is the fact that reality is actually something real. Baudrillard argues that now signs have recorded a system of meaning so that pure simulacra are born and dominate the media era. As a television series, the storyline, and the characters in "Nosedive" have offered a resolution dealing with simulated traps that Baudrillard doesn't really get out of in detail.
