Analisis Penggunaan Operational Energy Bangunan Kampung Notoprajan

Konsumsi energi bangunan terus meningkat seiring dengan pertambahan populasi. Karbon dioksida adalah salah satu gas rumah kaca yang diemisikan setiap kali bangunan mengonsumsi energy listrik. Bangunan berkontribusi terhadap 40% dari total konsumsi energy nasional. Setiap tahun konsentrasi karbon dioksida selalu meningkat dan dalam jangka panjang meningkatkan risiko bendana akibat perubahan iklim. Konsumsi energy bangunan perlu dikontrol guna memitigasi dampak perubahan iklim yang dihasilkannya. Penelitian ini menganalisis tingkat konsumsi energi bangunan pada Kampung Notoprajan sebagai daerah perkampungan padat dan representasi kawasan urban di Indonesia. Penelitian didahului oleh survey lokasi, pemodelan kawasan, memasukkan data dan kemudian simulasi. Simulasi operational energy terdiri dari total energy, lighting energy, cooling energy, dan equipment energy. Nilai hasil simulasi kemudian dibandingkan dengan rentang Intensitas Konsumsi Energi (IKE). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa operational energy Kampung Notoprajan berada di bawah rentang IKE untuk kategori perumahan, retail, kantor, dan sekolah. Operational energy hotel berada di atas rentang IKE sehingga perlu direduksi. Nilai operational energy hotel adalah 52,4 kWh/m2/bulan, sekolah sebesar 15,4 kWh/m2/bulan, retail 11,2 kWh/m2/bulan, kantor 7,9 kWh/m2/bulan, dan perumahan adalah sebesar 7,6 kWh/m2/bulan.

Nowadays the use of building energy is increasing by population growth. Carbon dioxide is one of green house gasses produced for every kWh used using coal power plant. Building contributes 40% of total energy used. Year by year carbon dioxide concentrate always increase by the use of building energy, resulting climate change after hundred years. As the impact of climate change, natural disasters happen more frequent. Building energy use needs to be controlled due to the mitigation and prevention. In this study, an analysis of the level of energy consumption was carried out in the Kampung Notoprajan area as a dense settlement area and representation from urban area in Indonesia. The research begins with conducting field surveys, modeling, inputting data and then running simulations. The operational energy simulation consists of total energy, lighting energy, cooling energy, and equipment energy. Through the results of the study, a calculation was made of the operational energy consist of cooling energy, lighting energy, and equipment energy for every building type compare to the IKE range. The results showed that the operational energy of Kampung Notoprajan was below the IKE range for offices, residentials, retails, and schools. Hotels have operational energy more than IKE upper limit for it need to reduced. The level of total operational energy per month from the largest is Hotel with a value of 629,2 kWh/m2/year, schools with a value of 184,9 kWh/m2/year, retails with a value of 134,5 kWh/m2/year, followed by offices at 94,2 kWh/m2/year, and the smallest is residential with a value of 90,8 kWh/m2/year.
