The Cijulang area, in the Mining Business Permit Area of PT Antam, Tbk which is located in Talegong District, Garut Regency, West Java classified as a deposit system of high sulfidation epithermal deposit and constituent rocks in the form of Tertiary volcanic rocks and volcaniclastic rocks. In this prospect, silicification, advanced argillic, argillic, and propylitic alterations are present. A logistic regression model was constructed using the presence of mineralization data as the dependent variable and geological structure, hydrothermal alteration, lithology, and intrusion bodies as independent variables. Geological structure analysis is performed by converting river segments into straight lines, identifying the fault, and calculating the segments parallel to the geological structures in the DEM. The geological structures that can be identified are Cikahuripan, Cisuren, Cibuni, dan Citando fault. The study area was affected by the presence of faults (44.54%) and lithology (35.12%). The higher the river order, the higher the faults effect rather than the lithology effect. Hydrothermal alteration in the study area was analyzed using ASTER L1T imagery by applying pre-processing, performing band ratio analysis of alteration-characteristic minerals, limiting using NDVI values and threshold values, and grouping the results into several hydrothermal alteration zones. The hydrothermal alterations that can be mapped are advanced argillic, argillic, and propylitic alterations, while the lithology, intrusion, and mineralization points are secondary data. These data are then processed to produce a logistic regression model. 4 independent variable models and 2 variable models were generated using regression logistic. In model 4 independent variables, based on the overall test, the model is declared fit but has a low significance on lithology and intrusion. Based on this, a model of 2 significant independent variables was built using hydrothermal alteration and geological structure variables. The results of logistic regression calculations were then interpolated to obtain a probability map with a probability value for the presence of minerals ranging from 0.00076-0.983809. This probability is then divided into 3 classes, namely low (0.00-0.33), moderate (0.33-0.66), and high (0.66-1.00). Based on logistic regression analysis, factors that are closely related to mineralization are geological structure and hydrothermal alteration. The geological structure that affects the research location is in the form of oblique dextral faults (North West-Southeast) as the pathways for the rise of hydrothermal fluids and sinistral shear faults (North East-Southwest) as the location of mineral deposition resulting from hydrothermal alteration and metal mineralization, and the alterations associated with mineralization include silicification alteration, advanced argillic alteration, and argillic alteration.
