PERANCANGAN PROGRAM DAN HMI SISTEM PENGOLAHAN GLUKOSA PADA INDUSTRI PERMEN BERBASIS PLC

Permen merupakan makanan yang sangat digemari oleh anak-anak maupun orang dewasa karena rasanya yang manis dan menyegarkan mulut. Terdapat berbagai macam permen yang beredar di toko hingga supermarket. Dalam pembuatan permen yang memiliki lapisan luar yang manis membutuhkan bahan dasar pembuatan berupa glukosa yang ditambahkan dengan air. Dengan banyaknya penikmat permen maka diperlukan seutatu sistem untuk membuat bahan pelapis permen. Agar pengolahan bahan dilakukan dengan cepat dan menghasilkan komposisi yang tepat dibutuhkan proses yang berjalan secara otomatis yaitu sistem Pengolahan Glukosa. Proses tersebut berfungsi untuk mengolah glukosa dan air secara otomatis dengan pengaturan komposisi sesuai dengan yang dibutuhkan. Sistem tersebut dibuat menggunakan software TIA PORTAL V.14 yang terdapat Programmable Logic Control (PLC) yang berfungsi sebagai pembuatan ladder diagram dan Human Machine Interface (HMI) yang berfungsi sebagai penampil program yang telah dibuat. Terdapat dua proses yang terjadi dalam sistem Pengolahan Glukosa yaitu Glucose Process dan Cleaning Process. Kedua proses terjadi di tempat yang sama. Terdapat level transmitter dan temperature transmitter untuk mengukur ketinggian dan suhu bahan pengolahan. Setiap komponen dapat di aktifkan dengan mode manual yang dapat aktif sesuai kebutuhan pengguna untuk memeriksa kondisi komponen dan mode otomatis yang berjalan sesuai program. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, dapat diketahui bahwa Glucose Process dilakukan untuk mengolah glukosa dan air dengan parameter komposisi yang sesuai serta Cleaning Process dilakukan setelah Glucose Process dijalankan untuk membersihkan seluruh bagian komponen yang digunakan.

Candy is a food that is very popular with children and adults because it tastes sweet and refreshes the mouth. There are various kinds of candy circulating in shops to supermarkets. In the manufacture of candy that has a sweet outer layer, it requires the basic ingredients of making glucose which is added with water. With so many candy lovers, a system is needed to make candy coating materials. In order for material processing to be carried out quickly and produce the right composition, a process that runs automatically is needed, namely the Glucose Processing system. This process functions to process glucose and water automatically with composition adjustments as needed. The system is built using TIA PORTAL V.14 software, which contains Programmable Logic Control (PLC) which functions as a ladder diagram creation and Human Machine Interface (HMI) which functions as a viewer for the program that has been made. There are two processes that occur in the Glucose Processing system, namely the Glucose Process and the Cleaning Process. Both processes occur at the same place. There is a level transmitter and temperature transmitter to measure the height and temperature of the processing material. Each component can be activated in manual mode which can be activated according to user requirements to check the condition of the component and an automatic mode that runs according to the program. Based on the test results, it can be seen that the Glucose Process is carried out to process glucose and water with the appropriate composition parameters and the Cleaning Process is carried out after the Glucose Process is run to clean all the components used.
