Struktur dan Komposisi Jenis Tumbuhan Pada Ketinggian Tempat Berbeda di Pegunungan Gajah Mungkur, Gunung Kelud, Kabupaten Kediri, Jawa Timur

Hutan lindung di Pegunungan Gajah mungkur mengalami kerusakan akibat penebangan liar serta kondisi kemiringan dan panjang lereng cukup besar menjadikannya rawan erosi, tentu hal ini berpengaruh terhadap keragaman dan kemelimpahan spesies tumbuhan didalamnya. Penelitian bertujuan mempelajari struktur dan komposisi jenis tumbuhan pada beberapa ketinggian tempat di Pegunungan Gajah Mungkur, Gunung Kelud. Data diambil dengan metode kuadrat plot yang berukuran 10x10 m2 pada 3 ketinggian tempat berbeda dengan total 30 plot di setiap stasiun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Hutan Lindung Pegunungan Gajah Mungkur terdiri dari 39 jenis tumbuhan yang berasal dari 15 familia berbeda. Jumlah spesies yang ditemukan di stasiun 1 (700-800 mdpl) berjumlah 8 jenis, stasiun 2 (800-900 mdpl) berjumlah 22 jenis dan stasiun 3 (900-1000 mdpl) berjumlah 28 jenis. Indeks nilai penting paling tinggi di stasiun 1 dimiliki oleh jabon (Neolamarckia cadamba), stasiun 2 dimiliki oleh kopi arabika (Coffea arabica) dan lokasi 3 dimiliki oleh agrung (Trema orientalis). Stasiun 1 didominasi growth form pohon dan tiang dengan tinggi dan diameter seragam, stasiun 2 didominasi growth form semai kopi yang masih pendek dan diameter batang kecil, stasiun 3 didominasi vegetasi pohon dengan ketinggian lebih dari 15 m dan diameter lebih dari 45 cm

The protected forest in the Gajah Mungkur Mountains has suffered damage due to illegal logging and the slope and long slope conditions are quite large making it prone to erosion, of course this has an effect on the diversity and abundance of tree species in it. The research aims to study the structure and composition of plant species at several altitudes in the Gajah Mungkur Mountains, Mount Kelud. The data were collected by using the quadratic plot method measuring 10x10 m2 at three different altitudes with a total of 30 plots at each station. The results showed that the Gajah Mungkur Mountains Protected Forest consisted of 39 types of tree communities from 15 different families. The number of species found at station 1 (700-800 masl) is 8 species, station 2 (800-900 m asl) is 22 species and station 3 (900-1000 m asl) is 28 species. The highest index of importance value at station 1 is owned by Jabon (Neolamarckia cadamba), station 2 is owned by Arabica coffee (Coffea arabica) and location 3 is owned by agrung (Trema orientalis). Station 1 is dominated by tree and pole growth with uniform height and diameter, Station 2 is dominated by coffee seedling growth which is still short and has a small trunk diameter, Station 3 is dominated by tree vegetation with a height of more than 15 m and a diameter of more than 45 cm.
