STUDI PENENTU PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI DI PROVINSI KALIMANTAN TIMUR

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penentu pertumbuhan ekonomi dengan analisis regresi data panel di Provinsi Kalimantan Timur. Data yang digunakan adalah data panel sembilan kabupaten/kota di Provinsi Kalimantan Timur selama tahun 2008 hingga 2018. Metode estimasi regresi yang digunakan adalah dengan Model Fixed Effects dengan 2 model penelitian yaitu model dengan log-level dan model dengan pertumbuhan. Variabel penentu pertumbuhan ekonomi terdiri dari pengeluaran pemerintah, infrastruktur transportasi, rata-rata lama sekolah, ekspor, penanaman modal dalam negeri (PMDN), dan penanaman modal asing (PMA). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa infrastruktur transportasi dan ekspor berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Sementara pertumbuhan pengeluaran pemerintah berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Provinsi Kalimantan Timur.

This study aims to analyze the economic growth determinants with panel data regression analysis in East Kalimantan Province. This study using panels data from nine district/city in East Kalimantan Province during 2008 to 2018. The regression estimation method used is the Fixed Effects Model with two research models, a log-level model and a growth model. The determinants of economic growth consist of government expenditure, transportation infrastructure, average years of schooling, exports, domestic investment, and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). The analysis results show that transportation infrastructure and export have a positive and significant effect on economic growth. While, government expenditure growth has a negative and significant effect on East Kalimantan�¢ï¿½ï¿½s economic growth.
