PERENCANAAN KORIDOR JALAN SOEKARNO-HATTA KOTA BUKITTINGGI DENGAN KONSEP SUSTAINABLE STREET

Jalan Soekarno-Hatta merupakan salah satu koridor yang sering dilalui oleh masyrakat Bukittinggi. Hal ini dikarenakan area koridor jalan yang didominasi oleh fungsi komersil dan jasa seperti hotel, resto, PKL, bank dan Banto Trade Center. Adapun kegiatan yang ramai di koridor jalan ini merupakan area transit beberapa kendaraan umum dengan tujuan yang berbeda-beda. Namun dengan berkembangnya koridor jalan ini belum diiringi oleh keselarasan baik kapasitas maupun kapabilitas koridor jalan itu sendiri. Maka hal itu menjadikan koridor jalan memiliki beberapa permasalahan dari berbagai perspektinya. Dengan menggunakan metode Soft System Methodology (SSM) perencanaan untuk koridor Jalan Soekarno-Hatta ini akan mencoba menelaborasikan konsep visual appeal, street vending dan sustainable street untuk dapat menghasilkan suatu rancangan kawasan yang kedepannya dapat memberikan solusi-solusi atas masalah yang ditimbulkan keadaan eksisting koridor jalan ini. Hasil akhir dari perencanaan ini berupa masterplan yang dapat memberikan gambaran fisik bagi koridor jalan.

Soekarno-Hatta Street is one of the corridors frequently traversersed by the people. The corridor area is dominated by commercial and sevice functions such as hotels, restaurant, street vendor and the existence of a Banto Trade Center. The crowded activities in this road corridor are a transit area for several public vehicles with different purposes. However, the development of this road corridor has not been accompanied by a harmony in both the capacity and capability of the road corridor itself. So this causes the road corridor to have several problems from various perspectives. By using the Soft System Methodology (SSM) method, the planning for Soekarno-Hatta Street will try to elaborate the concepts of visual appeal, street vending and sustainable street to be able the produce an area design that in the future can provide solutions to problems caused by the existing state of the road corridor. this. The final result of this planning is the form of a master plan that can provide a physical description of the road corridor.
