The Process of Creating Infographic for the Instagram Account of Dirgantara Mandala Museum Yogyakarta to Disseminate Air Force Aircraft Operations History Information

Salah satu teknik penyampaian informasi yang semakin sering ditemui adalah infografis yang memadukan gambar dan informasi kompleks untuk menghasilkan informasi yang lebih ringan dan mudah dipahami. Tugas akhir ini bertujuan menjelaskan secara rinci proses pembuatan infografis dan pengaplikasiannya sebagai media penyebaran informasi sejarah operasi Angkatan Udara, dan untuk mendeskripsikan profil dari Museum Dirgantara Mandala Yogyakarta. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan melalui studi lapangan, studi pustaka, wawancara, kuesioner, dan tindak tuturan performatif. Hasil yang didapat menunjukkan bahwa proses produksi infografis terdiri dari tiga bagian utama: proses produksi, proses produksi utama, dan proses penilaian. Proses produksi terdiri dari penulisan dan perencanaan desain tata letak infografis, proses produksi utama merupakan proses produksi infografis itu sendiri, dan proses penilaian adalah proses penilaian data infografis yang telah dipublikasikan dan hasil kuesioner yang telah dibagikan. Berdasarkan hasil kuesioner melalui akun resmi Instagram milik Museum Dirgantara Mandala, infografis dapat menjadi media yang menarik dalam menyebarkan informasi sejarah operasi pesawat Angkatan Udara.
Nowadays, the techniques of information delivery have developed rapidly and can be applied through various media, including social media. One of the most common techniques for delivering information is infographics that combine complex images and information to produce information that is light and easy to understand. This paper aims to explain in detail the process of creating infographics and the use of infographics as a medium for disseminating information about the history of Air Force operations, and to describe the profile of the Yogyakarta Dirgantara Mandala Museum. The data were collected through field studies, literature, interview, questionnaire, and performative speech act. The results indicate that the production process of infographic consists of three main parts: the production process, the main production processes, and the assessment process. The production process consists of writing and planning the layout design of infographics. The process of the main production is the production process of the infographic itself, and the assessment process is the process of evaluating the data of infographics that were had published and the results of questionnaires that have been distributed. Based on the results of the questionnaire through the official Instagram account of the Dirgantara Mandala Museum, infographics could be an attractive media in disseminating information of aircraft operating history at the Air Force.
