Tugas Akhir ini membahas mengenai pemusnahan arsip di Polda DIY. Tugas akhir ini disusun berdasarkan hasil kegiatan Praktik Kerja Lapangan di Kepolisian Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Pemusnahan Arsip ini dilakukan guna mengurangi volume arsip dan melindungi arsip yang masih memiliki nilai guna. Pada pelaksanaan Praktik Kerja Lapangan terdapat beberapa yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Metode yang pertama yaitu studi Pustaka. Metode kedua yaitu wawancara dengan narasumber untuk memperoleh informasi yang tepat dan akurat. Metode ketiga adalah observasi partisipasi. Hasil dari Tugas Akhir ini menunjukan bahwa Polda DIY baru melakukan kegiatan pemusnahan arsip untuk arsip-arsipnya yang sudah tidak memiliki nilai guna berkelanjutan. Kegiatan pemusnahan ini telah menggunakan berita acara pemusnahan, dan daftar arsip usul musnah . Prosedur pemusnahan yang dilakukan di Polda DIY sudah berdasarkan peraturan yang digunakan di lingkungan Polda DIY. Meskipun begitu, masih ada kendala dalam pelaksanaan pemusnahan arsip ini, kendala tersebut berasal dari kurangnya sumber daya manusia serta sarana dan prasarana yang kurang lengkap. This Final Project discussed the destruction of Records at Polda DIY. This Final Project is prepared based on the result of the Field Work Practice at Polda DIY. Destruction of records is done to reduce the volume of records and protect records that still have a value to use. In the implementation of the fieldwork practices, there are several that are used to collect data. The first method is the literature study. The second method is to conduct interviews with resource persons to obtain accurate and accurate information. The third method is the participatory observation. The results of this final project indicate that the Polda DIY has just destroyed archives for archives that have no sustainable use-value. This extermination activity has used an annihilation report of the destruction and a list of the records of the destroyed. Archival procedures at Polda DIY is based on the regulations used in the Polda DIY. Even so, there are still constraints in implementing the destruction of these records these constraints from a lack of human resources and incomplete infrastructure.
