POTENSI DAN PENGEMBANGAN EKOWISATA AIR TERJUN SEDUDO DAN DAMPAKNYA TERHADAP PENGHIDUPAN MASYARAKAT DI DESA NGLIMAN, KECAMATAN SAWAHAN, KABUPATEN NGANJUK, JAWA TIMUR

Perkembangan ekowisata akan mempengaruhi segala aspek kehidupan masyarakat terutama mempengaruhi kondisi sosial masyarakat yang berada di sekitar ekowisata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi ekowisata di Air Terjun Sedudo, menganalisis pengaruh ekowisata terhadap kondisi sosial dan ekonomi masyarakat yang bekerja di ekowisata Air Terjun Sedudo, serta menganalisis pengembangan dan pengelolaan ekowisata Air Terjun Sedudo. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa, potensi ekowisata Air Terjun Sedudo memiliki panorama yang alami dan asri, serta mitos yang dipercaya oleh banyak orang menjadikan nilai daya tarik ekowisata ini. Selain itu, ekowisata Air Terjun Sedudo yang sudah semakin dikenal, mampu memberikan pengaruh pada kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat. Pada bidang sosial, ditunjukan dengan adanya pengaruh peningkatan kerja sama dan perubahan gaya hidup pada masyarakat, namun tidak mempengaruhi perubahan perilaku masyarakat menjadi negatif. Adapun pada kondisi ekonomi, terjadi perubahan mata pencaharian masyarakat dan meningkatnya pendapatan masyarakat akibat adanya pengelolaan dan pengembangan yang baik. Terkait hal tersebut, Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Nganjuk telah melakukan upaya pengelolaan dan pengembangan ekowisata, yaitu melakukan promosi wisata melalui media elektronik, media cetak, media internet dan juga melalui promosi duta wisata, serta mengadakan pelatihan peningkatan sumber daya manusia untuk pengelola dan masyarakat

The development of ecotourism affects all aspects of community life, especially affecting the social condition of the community that is around ecotourism. The research aims to identify potential ecotourism in the Sedudo Falls, analyzing the ecotourism influences on the social and economic conditions of the community working at the ecotourism Sedudo waterfall, as well as analyzing the development and management of the ecotourism Sedudo waterfall. The results showed that the potential ecotourism of the Sedudo waterfall has a natural and beautiful panorama, as well as myths that many people believe make the value of this ecotourism attraction. Furthermore, the ecotourism of the Sedudo waterfall is increasingly known to influence the socio-economic condition of the community. In the social field, it is demonstrated by the influence of improvement of cooperation and lifestyle changes in society, but does not affect the changing behavior of the community to negative. As for economic conditions, there is a change in community livelihood and increased public income due to good management and development. Related to this, Nganjuk local government has made efforts on the management and development of ecotourism, which is to conduct travel promotion through electronic media, print media, Internet media and also through the promotion of tourist ambassadors, as well as to conduct an improvement of human resources training for managers and communities in the ecotourism Sedudo waterfall.
