Pembacaan Data Pemeriksaan Leukosit dan Diferensial Leukosit pada Ayam di Balai Besar Veteriner Wates Yogyakarta Tahun 2018-2019

Sel darah putih, leukosit (white blood cell, WBC) adalah salah satu bagian komponen darah. Sel darah putih tidak berwarna, memiliki inti, dapat bergerak secara amoeboid, dan dapat menembus dinding kapiler/diapedesis. Di dalam tubuh, leukosit melawan berbagai penyakit infeksi sebagai bagian dari sistem kekebalan tubuh. Tugas Akhir ini bertujuan memberikan gambaran pembacaan leukosit, mengetahui perbandingan jumlah leukosit normal dan sakit, serta untuk mendukung diagnosis penyakit pada ayam. Pemeriksaan perhitungan jumlah total leukosit ditemukan sebanyak 54 sampel leukositosis dengan rata-rata 339629�±297950 sel/mm3, (yang disertai heterofilia dengan rata-rata 93429�±96721 sel/mm3, eosinofilia dengan rata-rata 1955�±8038 sel/mm3 dan limfositosis dengan rata-rata 241208�±224234 sel/mm3) dan 10 sampel leukopenia dengan rata-rata 5840�±1861 sel/mm3 (yang disertai heterofilia dengan rata-rata 1694�±589 sel/mm3, limfopenia dengan rata-rata 4028�±1498 sel/mm3 dan monositopenia dengan rata-rata 77�±95 sel/mm3). Hasil pemeriksaan leukosit dan diferensial leukosit dapat digunakan untuk membantu peneguhan diagnosa penyakit pada ayam.

White blood cells or leukocytes are part of the blood component. White blood cells are colorless, have a nucleus, can move amoeboid, and can penetrate the capillary walls/diapedesis. Leukocytes as part of the body immune system, fighting infectious diseases. The purpose of this task is to provide an overview of leukocyte readings, normal and abnormal value of leukocytes counting ratio to support the diagnosis of poultry diseases. The total number of leukocytes consist of 54 samples leukocytosis with an average 339629�±297950 cells/mm3 (accompanied by heterofilia with an average 93429�±96721 cells/mm3, eosinophilia with an average of 1955�±8038 cells/mm3 and lymphocytosis with an average 241208�±224234 cells/mm3) and 10 samples of leukopenia with an average 5840�±1861 cells/mm3 (accompanied by heterofilia with an average 1694�±589 cells/mm3, lymphopenia with an average 4028�±1498 cells/mm3 and monocytopenia with an average 77�±95 cells/mm3). The results of leukocytes and differential leucocytes examination can be used to help confirm the diagnosis of diseases in chickens.
