Hubungan Usia, Tingkat Pengetahuan, Dan Sikap Ibu Menyusui Dengan Pemberian ASI Eksklusif Pada Bayi Usia 7-12 Bulan Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Umbulharjo 1 Yogyakarta

Pendahuluan: Memberikan ASI eksklusif merupakan langkah terpenting dalam mencukupi kebutuhan bayi selama enam bulan pertama tanpa diberikan makanan dan minuman lain. Agar pemberian ASI eksklusif dilakukan dengan benar, ibu perlu memiliki tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap yang mendasar mampu menerapkannya dengan benar. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan usia, tingkat pengetahuan, dan sikap ibu dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif pada bayi usia 7-12 bulan. Metode: Menggunakan metode observasional dengan desain cross sectional. Lokasi penelitian di wilayah kerja Pusmesmas Umbulharjo 1 Yogyakarta. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling dengan sampel sebanyak 50 ibu yang memiliki bayi yang mendapatkan ASI. Data penelitian didapatkan dari lembar karakteristik untuk mengetahui karakteristik ibu, kuesioner tingkat pengetahuan ibu untuk mendapatkan informasi tingkat pengetahuan ibu tentang ASI eksklusif, kuesioner sikap untuk mengetahui sikap ibu, dan kuesioner pemberian ASI eksklusif untuk mengetahui status pemberian ASI ibu. Hasil: Hasil menunjukkan 34 ibu (68%) memberikan ASI eksklusif. Dari analisis menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan usia ibu dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif (p =0,699; PR=0,905; CI=0,510-1,606), ada hubungan tingkat pengetahuan (p=0,022; PR=1,554; CI=1,071-2,035) dan sikap ibu (p=0,018 ; PR=0,254; CI=0,065-0,994) dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif. Kesimpulan: Tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap ibu menyusui memberikan pengaruh bermakna dalam pemberian ASI eksklusif. Kata Kunci: Usia, tingkat pengetahuan, sikap, pemberian ASI eksklusif

Introduction: Giving exclusive breastfeeding is the most important to help the baby's needs during the first sixth months of life without giving other foods and drinks. To support the best way of giving exclusive breastfeeding , mothers need to have a level of knowledge and basic attitude.. The purpose of this study is to know the relationship of age, the level of maternal knowledge, and attitude of mothers with exclusive breastfeeding in infants aged 7-12 months. Method: This study used observasional method by using cross sectional design. This population take in the working area of the Puskesmas Umbulharjo 1 Yogyakarta used simple random sampling with the number samples needed 50 mothers based on predefined criteria. Data analysis using Chi square or Fisher Exact Test. Results: This study showed that 34 mothers who gave exclusive breast milk. Based on the statistical analysis showed that there was no related maternal's age to exclusive breastfeeding (p=0,699; PR=0,905; CI=0,510-1,606), there was related maternal's knowledge level to exclusive breastfeeding (p=0.022; PR=1,554; CI=1,071-2,035), and there was related between attitude's maternal to exclusive breastfeeding (p=0,018 ; PR=0,254; CI=0,065-0,994). Conclusion: This study showed that the level of maternal knowledge and attitude's maternal gave the dominant impact in the exclusive breastfeeding.
