Analisis Ekonomi Penggunaan Ketel Uap (Steam Boiler) pada Usaha Kecil Menengah (UKM) Pengolahan Tahu di Kota Magelang

Tahu merupakan makanan tradisional yang sangat digemari oleh semua kalangan masyarakat. Makanan ini diproduksi oleh industri-industri pengolahan tahu. Pada umumnya, industri pengolahan tahu masih menggunakan metode tradisional. Penggunaan ketel uap (steam boiler) pada proses produksi tahu dapat memberikan beberapa keuntungan. Dalam kegiatan produksi tahu dengan steam boiler, analisis ekonomi sangat penting dilakukan untuk menilai kelayakan penggunaan alat. Penelitian ini bertujuan melakukan analisis ekonomi untuk menilai secara finansial kelayakan penggunaan steam boiler tipe TPD80. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode wawancara secara langsung dengan pemilik UKM pengolahan tahu "Al-Maaidah". Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan membandingkan biaya pemasakan bubur kedelai menggunakan steam boiler tipe TPD80 dengan pemasakan tradisional yang digunakan di UKM pengolahan tahu "Al-Maaidah", Kecamatan Magelang Selatan, Kota Magelang. Kelayakan finansial alat dilihat dari nilai Net Present Value (NPV), Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Payback Periode (PBP), dan Break Even Point (BEP). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai NPV Rp.34.653.080,00, BCR 1,05, IRR 21%, PBP 2,88 tahun, dan BEP Rp.392.150.592,00. Dari hasil penelitian, didapatkan kesimpulan penggunaan steam boiler pada UKM pengolahan tahu "Al-Maaidah" layak untuk dilanjutkan.

Tofu is a traditional food that is very popular with all people. This food is produced by tofu processing industries. In general, the tofu processing industry still uses traditional methods. The use of a steam boiler in the tofu production process can provide several benefits. In steam boiler tofu production activities, economic analysis is very important to assess the appropriateness of the use of tools. This study aims to conduct an economic analysis to financially assess the feasibility of using a TPD80 steam boiler. The method used is a direct interview method with the owner of "Al-Maaidah" tofu processing. Data processing was carried out by comparing the cost of cooking soybean slurry using steam boiler type TPD80 with traditional cooking used in the processing tofu "Al-Maaidah", South Magelang District, Magelang City. The financial feasibility of the tool can be seen from the value of the Net Present Value (NPV), Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Payback Period (PBP), and Break Even Point (BEP). The results showed the NPV value of Rp.34,653,080.00, BCR 1.05, IRR 21%, PBP 2.88 years, and BEP Rp.392,150,592.00. From the results of the study, it was concluded that the use of steam boilers in "Al-Maaidah" tofu processing was feasible to be continued.
