Tugas Akhir ini berjudul Terjemahan Halaman 7-21 Novel Kikikitan Henshuubu: Horaa Sakka wa Obake ga Kowai karya Mokusei Ako. Novel ini berisi tentang kisah seorang novelis horor yang melakukan observasi untuk menghasilkan novel perdananya. Novelis tersebut memiliki indra keenam, namun ia takut pada hantu. Dalam melakukan observasi, ia dibantu oleh seorang editor yang tidak memiliki indra keenam. Novel Kikikitan Henshuubu: Horaa Sakka wa Obake ga Kowai dipilih karena berisi kisah yang unik dan jarang ditemukan di novel-novel pada umumnya, yaitu kisah perjuangan novelis untuk menghasilkan novel yang dapat dinikmati pembacanya. Novelis tersebut tetap tidak menyerah untuk berhadapan dengan roh-roh halus walaupun ketakutan.Selain itu, ia juga memiliki tekad yang kuat dalam meraih impiannya, sehingga dapat dijadikan motivasi untuk pembaca. Kesulitan dalam menerjemahkan novel Kikikitan Henshuubu: Horaa Sakka wa Obake ga Kowai, yaitu mencari diksi yang sesuai dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Agar pembaca dapat memahami cerita dengan baik, maka hasil terjemahan menggunakan ungkapan yang lazim digunakan dalam Bahasa Indonesia, sehingga sesuai dengan tujuan kepenulisan Tugas Akhir ini.

The subject of the graduating paper is The Translation of Kikikitan Henshuubu: Horaa Sakka wa Obake ga Kowai Pages 7-21 by Mokusei Ako. The theme of the novel is about a horror novelist who does observation to make his first horror novel as he has sixth sense. The novelist could see, hear, and feel the spirit, but he is afraid about ghost. During observation, he was assisted by an ordinary editor who couldn������¢���¯���¿���½���¯���¿���½t see, hear, and feel the spirit. Kikikitan Henshuubu: Horaa Sakka wa Obake ga Kowai was chosen because it contains unique story and the theme is rarely found in novels in general. The story is about the novelist's struggle to make a horror novel that will pleases the readers. The novelist would not to give up to dealing the spirit, even though he is afraid of the ghost. As he has strong willingness to achieve his dreams, hopefully it can motivate the readers. The difficulties of translating Kikikitan Henshuubu: Horaa Sakka wa Obake ga Kowai is looking for the appropriate words in Indonesian. In order to make the readers understand the story well, the translation use expressions which commonly used in Indonesian, so that is accordance to the purpose of this graduating paper.
