ANALISIS PENGELOLAAN PERSEDIAAN DENGAN BONDED WAREHOUSE PADA PT. XYZ

PT XYZ adalah perusahaan manufaktur dimana nilai inventory menjadi sangat penting. Dibutuhkan pengelolaan inventory yang baik agar persedian yang tersedia dapat dikelola dengan efektif dan efesien. Dengan semakin meningkatnya permintaan produk maka semakin meningkat pula persediaan untuk menghindari terjadinya stock out. Penyimpanan persediaan dalam jumlah besar akan meningkatkan biaya perusahaan. PT. XYZ perlu melakukan strategi operasi agar inventory yang tersedia dapat dikelola degan baik dan menekan biaya. Salah satu inventory management yang berkembang saat ini adalah bonded warehouse atau sering disebut dengan Pusat Logistik Berikat (PLB). PT. XYZ dapat meletakkan inventory pada bonded warehouse yang saat ini dimana semua persediaan diletakkan pada gudang perusahaan dimana hal ini akan meningkatkan biaya dan menjadi beban bagi peruhsaan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menetahui proyeksi jumlah inventory di masa mendatang. Data masa lalu yang yang digunakan adalah data inventory dari tahun 2015 sampai dengan 2018. Metode peramalan yang digunakan adalah metode peramalan regresi, dekomposisi dan artificial neural network. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode peramalan dengan nilai kesalahan terkecil yang dilihat dari nilai SSE, MSE dan R2. Setelah mengetahui proyeksi inventory dimasa mendatang dilakukan analisa terhadap pemilihan strategi perusahaan dengan membandingkan beberapa aspek yaitu ordering cost, holding cost, Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), lead time, safety stock dan maksimum inventory sebelum dan sesudah menerapkan bonded warehouse. Hasil analisa menunjukkan bahwa dilihat ordering cost, holding cost, Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), lead time, safety stock dan maksimum inventory memberikan nilai yang lebih baik bagi perusahaan sehingga perusahaan dapat memilih pengelolaan bahan baku baku pada warehouse.

PT XYZ is a manufacturing company where inventory value is very important. Good inventory management is needed so that the available inventory can be managed effectively and efficiently. With the increasing demand for products, the supply will also increase to avoid stock out. Storage of large amounts of inventory will increase company costs. PT. XYZ needs to carry out an operating strategy so that the available inventory can be managed properly and reduce costs. One of the inventory management that developed at this time is a bonded warehouse. PT. XYZ can place inventory in the current bonded warehouse where all inventory is placed in the company's warehouse where this will increase costs and become a burden to the company. The research aims to find out the projected amount of inventory in the future. Past data used are inventory data from 2015 to 2018. Forecasting methods used are regression forecasting, decomposition and artificial neural network methods. The method used is the forecasting method with the smallest error value seen from the value of SSE, MSE and R2. After knowing future inventory projections, an analysis of company strategy selection is done by comparing several aspects, namely ordering cost, holding cost, Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), lead time, safety stock and maximum inventory before and after implementing a bonded warehouse. The results of the analysis show that judging by ordering costs, holding costs, Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), lead time, safety stock and maximum inventory provide better value for the company so that companies can choose a strategy of putting raw materials in bonded warehouses.
