STUDI TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN DAN OUTCOME KLINIK PADA PASIEN DIABETES MELITUS DI PUSKESMAS KOTA YOGYAKARTA

Diabetes Melitus (DM) merupakan salah satu penyakit kronis dengan prevalensi yang kian meningkat. Hal ini berkaitan dengan perlunya kesadaran pasien mengenai pentingnya pengetahuan tentang penyakit DM beserta penggunaan obatnya yang akan mempengaruhi tingkat kepatuhan pasien dalam menjalani terapinya, mengingat jangka waktu pengobatan yang cukup lama. Peran apoteker dalam kasus ini sangat dibutuhkan untuk membantu meningkatkan pengetahuan pasien sehingga dapat tercapai outcome klinik yang diinginkan yaitu terkontrolnya kadar gula darah pasien sesuai dengan tujuan terapinya salah satunya dengan pelayanan kefarmasian berbasis Medication Therapy Management (MTM). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran sosiodemografi, tingkat pengetahuan dan outcome klinik serta hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan terhadap outcome klinik pasien DM di Puskesmas Kota Yogyakarta. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode cross sectional melalui kuesioner kepada 104 responden sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi dan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan accidental sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa kuesioner hasil pengembangan yang telah dimodifikasi dari penelitian sebelumnya. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Oktober ����¯�¿�½������¢������¯������¿������½������¯������¿������½ Desember 2019 di lima Puskesmas di Kota Yogyakarta yaitu Pakualaman, Kotagede I, Tegalrejo, Mantrijeron, Danurejan II. Data hasil penelitian berupa gambaran karakteristik sosiodemografi, gambaran tingkat pengetahuan dan outcome klinik pasien DM dianalisis secara deskriptif. Sedangkan data untuk melihat analisis hubungan menggunakan uji statistika Chi-square. Tingkat pengetahuan pasien DM di Puskesmas Kota Yogyakarta termasuk kategori rendah ditunjukkan dengan 40,4% responden memiliki tingkat pengetahuan yang rendah. Outcome klinik pasien DM di Puskesmas Kota Yogyakarta sebagian besar terkontrol dengan persentase 60,6% dari keseluruhan populasi. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat pendidikan pasien dengan tingkat pengetahuan pasien DM (p=0.001), namun tidak ada hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan terhadap outcome klinik pasien DM (p=0.535).

This is related to the need for patient awareness about the importance of knowledge about DM and the use of drugs that will affect the level of patient compliance in undergoing treatment, given the long period of DM treatment. The role of the pharmacist in this case is to improve patient knowledge so that the desired clinical outcome can be achieved, namely the control of the patient's blood sugar levels in accordance with the therapeutic goals, one of which is based on Medication Therapy Management (MTM) pharmaceutical services. This study aims to determine the sociodemographic description, the level of knowledge and clinical outcomes as well as the relationship between the level of knowledge and clinical outcome of DM patients on Puskesmas in Yogyakarta City. The study was conducted by cross sectional method through questionnaires to 104 respondents in accordance with the inclusion and exclusion criteria that have been determined by sampling techniques using accidental sampling. The research instrument used was in the form of a questionnaire resulting from the development that had been modified from previous research. The study was conducted in October - December 2019 in five Puskesmas in Yogyakarta City, namely Pakualaman, Kotagede I, Tegalrejo, Mantrijeron,and Danurejan II. The research data in the form of description the patient's sociodemographic characteristics, description the level of knowledge and clinical outcome of DM patients were analyzed descriptively. While the data to see the relationship analysis using the Chi-square statistical test. The level of knowledge of DM patients in Yogyakarta City is low, as indicated by 40.4% of respondents having a low level of knowledge. Outcome of DM patient clinics in Yogyakarta City is largely controlled with a percentage of 60.6% of the total population. There is a significant relationship between the level of patient education with the level of DM patient knowledge (p = 0.001). There was no relationship between knowledge level and clinical outcome of DM patients (p = 0.535).
