This research aims to breakdown the factors that are mostly affecting people's plastic management to find out the root of why plastic waste kept on piling up in the city. This article provides an insight on individuals' behavior and uncovers a significant factor as to why plastic trashes remain problematic regardless of so many regulations. This research uses a quantitative method acquired with a questionnaire which is processed with a software familiar as SPSS. As it turned out all of the given variables do affect the people's behavior to a certain extent. Only one variable has stronger effect to the person's behavior than the other. As there are so many different journals regarding plastic management, this research attempts to fill the available gap by looking at the problem through a new perspective of Environmental Citizenship. From 293 respondents 72.4% of them were university students and most of the variables perform either really weak or weak correlation to an individual's behavior when it comes to plastic management. However, there are four most prominent factors that influence why a person is acting in a certain way. The first one is being the community where he or she is living or surrounding themselves with; second is their level of education which they have acquired; third is the consequences that a certain individuals are facing; and finally, public awareness which shows the people's sensitivity to their surroundings. While the research results in some limitations which include theoretical problems and the research method.
