Human resources role in determines companies performances in VUCA World is crucial. Increasing demand to find the right employee for this kind of situation inflicts the need for the right instruments to find agile employees. This research aimed to investigate the role of the five-factor model personality towards stress and agile through cognitive ability. A numerical test called GSAT was used to measure the agility from cognitive abilities perspective and Galvanic Skin Response (GSR) to observe physiological changes due to stress. We found significant correlations between agility with Openness (O) and Neuroticism (N) personality trait, which show that we need to have a big curiosity and emotional stability to become agile. In addition, we did find a negative correlation between stress level and agility. Although Extraversion (E) personality trait was also found correlated with the agility, it was not designed in this research so it was an artifactual effect. These results provide more understanding of agile people and will be used to developing a new instrument to measure agility.
