GAMBARAN ERITROSIT SAPI PERANAKAN ONGOLE (PO) PENDERITA HIPOFUNGSI OVARIUM

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji profil sel darah merah pada sapi Peranakan Ongole (PO) yang mengalami hipofungsi ovarium. Diagnosa dilakukan dengan palpasi rektal sapi betina dan ditemukan tiga ekor sapi mengalami hipofungsi ovarium, selanjutnya diambil darahnya melalui vena jugularis dalam vacutainer EDTA untuk analisis sel darah merah. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa level total eritrosit, hemoglobin, PCV, MCV, MCH, dan MCHC pada sapi yang mengalami hipofungsi ovarium berturut turut adalah 6,61±1,86 x 106/µL; 10,8±2,27 g/dl; 32,9±6,66 %; 50,46±4,6 fL; 16,53±1,16 pg; 32,8±1,11 g/dl. Simpulan yang dapat ditarik bahwa profil sel darah merah pada Sapi Peranakan Ongole (PO) yang mengalami hipofungsi masih dalam kisaran normal.

The purpose of this research is to study erytrocyte values of Ongole crossbreed cows that suffering from hipofunction ovary. The material were hemocytometer, tube, microhematocrit reader, microscop, deck glass, spectrofotometri, erytrocyte pipe. The result of diagnoses done by rectal palpation and found three cows that suffering hipofunction ovary dissease, and then blood sample taken on jugularis vein into vacutainer EDTA for red blood cell analysis. The result of analysis shows that total of erytrocyte, hemoglobin, PCV, MCV, MCHC of Ongole crossbreed cows that suffering from hipofunction ovary dissease were 6.61±1.86 x 106/µL; 10.8±2.27 g/dL; 32.9±6.66 %; 40-60 fL; 16.53±1.16 pg; 32.8±1.11 g/dL. All of this value is still in the normal range of bovine erythrocyte components and. Conclusions of erytrocyte count of Ongole crossbreed cows that suffering from hipofunction ovary dissease in normal range.
