VALUASI EKONOMI OBJEK WISATA UMBUL MANTEN DENGAN ANALISIS TRAVEL COST METHOD

Objek wisata Umbul Manten dikenal sebagai destinasi wisata air di Kabupaten Klaten Jawa Tengah. Selain suasana yang sejuk dan asri, objek wisata Umbul Manten juga mempunyai kualitas air yang jernih dibandingkan objek wisata sejenis lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengestimasi nilai ekonomi dari objek wisata Umbul Manten berdasarkan metode biaya perjalanan atau travel cost method dan dianalisis dengan regresi linier berganda. Variabel dependen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jumlah kunjungan. Variabel independen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah biaya perjalanan, pendapatan, pendidikan, usia, waktu tempuh menuju lokasi objek penelitian, persepsi kualitas objek dan pengganti objek wisata sejenis. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berdasarkan sampel yang berjumlah 100 pengunjung. Surplus konsumen per individu per tahun yang diperoleh berada pada rentang Rp12.672,00 sampai dengan Rp19.400,00 dengan rata-rata per individu per tahun sebesar Rp16.036,00. Nilai ekonomi Umbul Manten yang diperoleh berada pada interval Rp1.592.985.000,00 per tahun dan berada pada interval Rp1.258.812.000,00 sampai dengan Rp1.927.157.000,00.

Tourist attraction Umbul Manten is known as water tourism destinations in Klaten Regency, Central Java. In addition to the cool and beautiful atmosphere, the tourist attraction Umbul Manten also has clear water quality compared to other similar tourist objects. This study aims to estimate the economic value of Umbul Manten based on travel cost method and analyzed by using multiple linier regression. The dependent variable used in this study is the number of visits. Independent variables in this study are travel costs, monthly income, education, age, travel time to the location of the object of research, perceptions of the quality of object environment, and perceptions of the similar tourist attraction. The data used in the study is based on a sample of 100 visitors. The result of this study is that the consumer Surplus for Umbul Manten estimated in the range of Rp12.672,00 up to Rp19.400,00 per individual per year, with an average of Rp16.036,00 per individual per year. The economic value of Umbul Manten is in the range of Rp1.258.812.000,00 up to Rp1.927.157.000,00 per year with an average of Rp1.592.985.000,00 per year.
