PERAN PRODUKTIF, REPRODUKTIF, DAN SOSIAL WANITA NELAYAN JARING TARIK DI PANTAI PRIGI KABUPATEN TRENGGALEK

Penelitian dilakukan di beberapa desa di Kecamatan Watulimo Kabupaten Trenggalek dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui peran reproduktif, produktif dan sosial wanita nelayan jaring tarik, kontribusi wanita nelayan jaring tarik dalam ekonomi rumah tangga dan pengambilan keputusan dalam rumah tangga. Responden berjumlah 28 orang yang dipilih menggunakan metode bola salju (snowball method). Pengumpulan data primer dengan observasi, wawancara tersetruktur, wawancara mendalam (in-depth interview) dan Focus Group Discussion. Data Sekunder berasal dari monografi desa, kecamatan, dan Pelabuhan Perikanan Prigi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa wanita nelayan jaring tarik melakukan peran reproduktif berupa mengurus rumah, mengurus keluarga serta mendidik anak dengan alokasi waktu sebanyak 4 hingga 7 jam/hari, peran produktif sebagai wanita nelayan jaring tarik menghasilkan pendapatan antara Rp 45.000,- hingga Rp 55.000,-/hari dengan alokasi waktu berkisar 9 hingga 12 jam/hari, dan peran sosial yaitu pengajian dan arisan dengan alokasi waktu 2 hingga 3 jam/hari. Kontribusi wanita nelayan jaring tarik terhadap ekonomi rumah tangga sebesar 40,99%. Mekanisme pengambilan keputusan yang berkaitan dengan urusan rumah lebih banyak ditentukan oleh istri. Urusan pendidikan anak dan kegiatan produktif ditentukan secara bersama oleh istri maupun suami. Keputusan yang berkaitan dengan peran sosial lebih banyak tentukan oleh suami.

This research was conducted in several villages of Watulimo District in Trenggalek Regency, with the aim to find out the productive, reproductive, and social role of beach seine fisherwomen in the contribution of economic household and in taking decision in their household. The respondent is gained 28 people, by using snowball method. The primary data collection are using observation, structured interview and in-depth interview, also Focus Group Discussion technique. The Secondary data is gained from monograph data villages, data District Watulimo and Prigi Fishery Port. The result of the research show that the beach seine fisherwomen household do role of reproductive such as taking care of their house, household, family and also educate their children about 4 until 7 hours per day, productive role as beach seine fisherwomen household earn between 45000 rupiahs to 55000 rupiahs per day by having time 9 to 12 hours per day, and social role which they do in their surrounding such as regular recitation and social gathering by 2 until 3 hours per day. The contribution of the beach seine fisherwomen to the economic household about 40,99%. The mechanism of taking decision which is related to house caring is more determined by a wife. The case related to children especially education and productive activity are decided by a husband together with his wife. The case about social role is dominantly decided by a husband.
