PERJUANGAN EKS TAPOL PERISTIWA 1965 MENUNTUT REHABILITASI DI KEBUMEN, JAWA TENGAH

Tulisan ini membahas tentang para pengingat Peristiwa 1995. Mereka adalah orang-orang yang gagal melupakan ingatan tentang kekerasan dan penderitaan yang dialami sejak mereka dituduh terlibat G30S (Gerakan 30 September) pada tahun 1965. Sejatinya, mereka sudah mencoba melupakan ingatan peristiwa itu, dengan harapan bisa hidup damai. Namun pada saat mereka melupakan, pihak-pihak lain, terutama negara, selalu mengingat-ingatkan akan peristiwa itu. Para pengingat peristiwa 1965 itu mengorganisir diri pada saat Reformasi 1998. Melalui organisasi yang mereka bentuk, serta didukung oleh CSO, mereka menuntut rehabilitasi. Perjuangan yang dilakukan begitu gigih, dan mereka menang di pengadilan melawan Depdiknas. Putusan Mahkamah Agung mewajibkan Depdinas untuk merehabilitasi mereka. Saat ini, para pengingat peristiwa 1965 ini masih menyusun strategi-strategi karena Putusan Mahkamah Agung masih belum dilaksankan.

This Paper deals with people who have memories of 1965 Tragedy. They Are people who have failed to forget the memory of violence and suffering experienced since they were accused of involvement in the G30S (Movement 30 September) in 1965. Indeed, they have tried forget the memory of the tragedy, hoping to live peacefully. But by the time they forget, the other parties, especially the state, always remember the event. The people organized themselves during the Reformation of 1998. Through the organizations they formed, and supported by CSOs, they demanded rehabilitation. The struggle was so persistent, and they won in court against the Ministry of National Education. The Supreme Court ruling requires the Deputy to rehabilitate them. Nowadays, people who have memories of 1965 tragedy are still devising strategies because the Supreme Court ruling still has not been implemented.
