PENAUTAN CITRA UDARA MENGGUNAKAN METODE PEMROSESAN PARALEL DENGAN UNIT PEMROSESAN GRAFIK CUDA; STITCHING AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY USING PARALLEL PROCESSING WITH CUDA GRAPHICAL PROCESSING UNIT

This research aims to analyze the method for stitching aerial photography which has some different objects with CUDA parallel processing on the GPU. Stitching aerial image is the process to combine multiple images into a single image which is called a panoramic mosaic. This research uses a few of aerial images which have four objects. One aerial image consists of a couple images which have partially similar object (overlapping area). Several methods which are used are Unsharp Mask, Grayscale Process, SURF (Speeded-Up Robust Features), library FLANN, RANSAC, warpPerspective, and L-1 Metric Distance algorithms. For programming, it used Ubuntu 15.04 operating system, 2.4.10 OpenCV, and CUDA Toolkit. The experimental results are 0,00x to 3,40x of magnification scale for scale variations, 43.23% overlap area for translation variations, 170° to 180° for rotation variations, 10% distortion pixel variations. The part of system which is processed using the parallel method on CUDA has a 5.4x faster than its sequential computation time and this parallel system influence the overall stitching system for processing time is 3.6x faster than overall system which only use sequential method.
