ANALISA KEMAMPUAN SISTEM SINGLE DAN DUAL GPS DENGAN SINYAL C/A DAN CARRIER; PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS SINGLE AND DUAL GPS SYSTEM USING C/A AND CARRIER SIGNAL

GPS is used in various fields for different needs. GPS system is currently divided into two, single and dual. Dual system using two receivers to correct GPS position errors. GPS satellites transmit signals in the form C/A and carrier. Each of these signals can be used to determine the position of the GPS receiver. From both signals, can be made four types GPS that are single GPS C/A, single GPS carrier, dual C/A (differential) GPS, and dual carrier (RTK) GPS. Each system is tested and analyzed by parameters such as, number of used sattelites, TTFF, update rate and accuracy. The analysis result shows that the carrier system easy influenced by signal quality. If signal is blocked then carrier system performance dropped. C/A system shows different result, very stable in any condition but have low accuracy. Carrier system can provide higher accuracy but speed on TTFF and update rate is lower than C/A system. Dual and single system also C/A and carrier system have certain characteristic so can be use to provide specific positon data
