FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PRODUKSI MINYAK BUMI INDONESIA PERIODE 2000.1 – 2010.4

Produksi minyak bumi Indonesia terus mengalami penurunan dari tahun 2000 – 2010. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap produksi minyak bumi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan data runtut waktu dalam bentuk kuartal periode 2000.1 – 2010.4. Variabel penelitian adalah konsumsi lokal, local manufacturing production index, dan stabilitas politik. Metode analisis adalah metode Ordinary Least Square (OLS). Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa produksi minyak bumi dipengaruhi oleh konsumsi lokal, local manufacturing production index, dan stabilitas politik. Di sisi lain, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa variabel local manufacturing production index dan stabilitas politik berkorelasi negatif terhadap produksi minyak bumi karena cadangan minyak bumi menipis. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa produksi minyak bumi Indonesia periode 2000.1 – 2010.4 tidak mencukupi kebutuhan domestik periode 2000.1 – 2010.4. Perkembangan produksi minyak Indonesia dari tahun ke tahun terus mengalami penurunan, sehingga perlu upaya luar biasa untuk menemukan cadangan-cadangan baru dan peningkatan produksi.
Indonesia's oil production has declined from the year 2000 to 2010. This study aims to identify factors that affect oil production in Indonesia. This study uses quarter time series data in the period of 2000.1 - 2010.4. The research variables are local consumption, local manufacturing production index, and political stability. The method of analysis applied is Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) method. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that oil production is affected by the local consumption, local manufacturing production index, and political stability. On the other hand, the study concludes that the variable of local manufacturing production index and political stability are negatively correlated to oil production because proven oil reserves are in depleting conditions. This indicates that Indonesia’s oil production from 2000.1 – 2010.4 did not adequate with domestic needs period 2000.1 – 2010.4. The development of Indonesia's oil production from year to year continues to decline, so it needs extraordinary efforts to find new reserves and increase production.
