Pengaruh Modal Intelektual Terhadap Kinerja Perusahaan (Studi Empiris Pada Perusahaan Sektor Jasa Di Bursa Efek Indonesia)

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji secara empiris hubungan antara modal intelektual dan kinerja perusahaan. Modal intelektual diukur dengan menggunakan metode Pulic yaitu koefisien nilai tambah intelektual (value added intellectual coefficient – VAICTM) sebagai ukuran efisiensi modal usahan dan modal intelektual. Kinerja perusahaan diukur dengan menggunakan tiga indikator, yaitu ROE, EPS, dan ASR. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 91 perusahaan sektor jasa yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia sejak tahun 2001 hingga 2010. Alat analisis data yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis adalah Partial least Square (PLS). Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bukti bahwa modal intelektual berpengaruh positif tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan dan kinerja perusahaan masa depan, serta tingkat pertumbuhan modal intelektual (ROGIC) juga berpengaruh positif tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan masa depan. Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa modal intelektual belum memiliki peran penting dalam memberikan kontribusi atas kinerja perusahaan
The purpose of this study is to examine empirically the relation between intellectual capital and companyÂ’s performance. Intellectual capital measured using PulicÂ’s method is value added intellectual coefficient (VAICTM) as the efficiency measures of capital employed and intellectual capital. CompanyÂ’s performance measured using three indicators (ROE, EPS, and ASR). Sample consists of 91 firms from service sectors listed on Indonesia Stocks Exchange since 2001 to 2010. Data analysis tools to test hypothesis is Partial Least Square (PLS). The results show evidence that intellectual capital has a positive impact but not significant on companyÂ’s performance and future companyÂ’s performance, and rate of growth of intellectual capital (ROGIC) has positive impact but not significant on future companyÂ’s performance. These results indicated that intellectual capital doesnÂ’t have important role on contribution to companyÂ’s performance.
