LAPORAN TUGAS AKHIR PEMBUATAN ANIMASI 3D DALAM FILM PENDEK ANIMASI MEMORY

Adanya konflik dan peperangan yang terjadi di berbagai negara mengakibatkan warga sipil terpaksa harus menanggung dampak dan kerugiannya. Tidak hanya orang dewasa, anak-anak yang tidak tahu sama sekali tentang seluk beluk konflik pun terpaksa harus menjadi korban. Salah satu negara yang mengalami konflik adalah negara Suriah. Negara Suriah telah mengalami konflik sejak 2011 dan masih berlangsung hingga saat ini. Maka, untuk menyampaikan ke telinga publik mengenai sekilas penderitaan korban konflik dibuatlah film pendek animasi Memory yang terdiri atas dua bagian animasi, yaitu bagian 2D (2 dimensi) dan bagian 3D (3 dimensi). Film ini dikerjakan secara tim, dan penulis bertanggung jawab pada bagian pembuatan animasi 3D. Animasi 3D dalam film pendek animasi Memory dibuat menggunakan teknologi CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) dengan menggabungkan teknik pembuatan polygonal modeling dan solid geometry modeling. Dalam pembuatannya, jenis 3D model yang digunakan adalah campuran antara high poly dan low poly. Proses penganimasian gerak karakter dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan metode pose to pose dengan meniru prinsip kerja teknik motion capture. Aplikasi yang digunakan dalam pembuatan animasi ini adalah Blender versi 2.78c, Adobe After Effects CS6, dan Adobe Premierre Pro CS6. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah produk multimedia berupa animasi 3D yang menarik secara visual, memperlihatkan keadaan kedua tokoh sebagai anak-anak korban dari serangan pengeboman, serta informasi mengenai keadaan yang dialami tokoh cukup tersampaikan.

The existence of conflicts and wars that occurred in various countries resulted in civilians were forced to bear the effects and losses. Not only adults, children who do not know all the details of the conflict were forced to become victims. One of the countries that experienced the conflict was the Syrian state. The country of Syria has been in conflict since 2011 and is still ongoing until now. So to convey to the public ears of glimpses of the sufferings of conflict victims made short animated film Memory which consists of two parts, namely 2D (2 dimension) and 3D (3 dimension) parts. The film is done in a team, and the author is responsible for the 3D animation creation. 3D animation in short animated film Memory is made using CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) technology by combining polygonal modeling and solid geometry modeling techniques. In the making, the type of 3D model used is a mixture of high poly and low poly. The process of animating the character motion is done using pose to pose method approach by imitating the working principle of motion capture technique. Applications used in making this animation is Blender version 2.78c, Adobe After Effects CS6, and Adobe Premierre Pro CS6. The result of this research is multimedia product in the form of 3D animation that is visually appealing, showing the condition of the two characters as the victim's children from the bombing attack, and information about the circumstances experienced by the figure is quite conveyed.
