VALIDASI MODUL "PANDA" UNTUK MENINGKATKAN SELF-EFFICACY DAN KETERAMPILAN KOMUNIKASI KESEHATAN REPRODUKSI

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan suatu modul yang dapat meningkatkan self-efficacy dan keterampilan komunikasi materi Pendidikan Kesehatan Reproduksi-Seksual (PKRS) pada guru. Proses validasi dilakukan dengan melibatkan para ahli di bidang PKRS. Kemudian, modul tersebut diuji-cobakan melalui eksperimen dengan rancangan pretest-postest control group. Pada eksperimen tersebut, modul diterapkan dalam bentuk pelatihan kepada guru SMP (N=17). Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji-t. Setelah mengikuti pelatihan PANDA, terdapat peningkatan skor self-efficacy dan keterampilan komunikasi secara signifikan pada kelompok eksperimen yang mayoritas memiliki pengalaman mengajar kurang dari 10 tahun. Meskipun demikian, peningkatan skor tersebut tidak berbeda ketika dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol yang tidak mendapat pelatihan namun memiliki pengalaman mengajar yang lebih bervariasi. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul program pelatihan PANDA dapat meningkatkan self-efficacy dan keterampilan komunikasi pada subjek yang spesifik, yakni guru-guru dengan pengalaman mengajar kurang dari 10 tahun.

This study was aimed for developing a modular instruction to improve teacher's self-efficacy and communication skill in delivering reproductive health information. The validity of the modular instruction was further examined through expert judgments and experiment. The module was experimented in the form of training to junior high school teachers (N=17), using pretest-post test control group design. The data were further analyzed using t-test. Validation test through expert judgments indicated that the developed module had satisfying content validity based on Cronbach's criteria. After participating in the training, there were some increases in self-efficacy and communication skill scores among teachers in the experimental group who majority had less than 10 years teaching experience. Meanwhile, when the gain scores were compared with those in the control group who did not participate the training but had various teaching years of experience, they were significantly not difference. Therefore, we conclude that the PANDA modular instruction can improve self-efficacy and communication scores only in specific subjects, which are teachers who had less than 10 years of teaching experience.
