ConocoPhillips (COP) is the third largest integrated energy company in the United States by market capitalization, production and proven reserves of oil and gas. COP is the company's fourth-largest refiner and the seventh largest holder of proven reserves of companies that are not controlled by the government. In Indonesia, the main production area of COPI Inc. Ltd. is located in South Sumatra mainland and in the South Natuna Sea offshore. In 2004 production started in the field Belanak which is the biggest development in Block B until today. Flowing through a floating production facility for the production and storage (Floating Production Storage and Offloading - FPSO) Belanak, which besides having a hydrocarbon processing facilities and oil storage, also has a gas refinery to extract Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) from the natural gas stream. Crude oil exported from the FPSO Belanak through Oil Offloading Buoy (OOB) while natural gas flowed through the pipeline to export to Singapore and Malaysia. LPG products such as butane and propane flowed into LPG Floating Storage Offloading (FSO) Gas Concord which is a cooling facility, storage, and loading and unloading of LPG through a subsea pipeline which is connected to a mooring system. Mooring system (mooring) is an important component in operations that affect the availability and productivity in Concord Gas FSO in achieving the expected operating performance. The use of appropriate technology mooring system on the FSO is an option to be able to provide the advantages of operating performance. The transition from Concord Gas FSO mooring system becomes Calm Buoy Turret be seen influence on the operating performance. Above analysis that has been done, the conclusion that: With the technological differences of the two systems have an impact on the operational mooring Gas Concord. It is most contributing to the performance of the operation is the availability of electricity supply. And based on discussion shows that by using technology Turret provide a more stable power supply interruption minimal compared with the use of technology in applications Turret Gas LPG FSO Concord. Based on data from performance indicator figures prevailing in Indonesia, namely ConocoPhillips Direct Operating Efficiency, Equipment Utilization and Operation Downtime overall showed an increase in the period compared to the period Calm Buoy Turret. And operational availability as equipment performance criteria between the use of CALM Buoy mooring system and Turret also showed an increase. Thus based on the technology and performance indicators, we can conclude that the transition Calm Buoy mooring system technology into Raised Turret affect operating performance in the LPG FSO Gas Concord.
