METODE TRANSFORMASI DIFERENSIAL TERMODIFIKASI DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN PENDEKATAN LAPLACE-PADE

Metode transformasi diferensial merupakan metode numerik untuk menyelesaikan berbagai macam persamaan diferensial dengan syarat awal. Untuk memperoleh solusi dari suatu persamaan diferensial, langkah pertama diawali dengan mengubah persamaan diferensial tersebut beserta syarat awalnya ke dalam bentuk transformasi diferensial, kemudian dengan menggunakan rumus invers transformasi diferensial akan diperoleh solusi dari persamaan diferensial tersebut dalam bentuk deret pangkat. Jika deret pangkat tersebut dipotong, maka solusi yang diberikan disebut solusi aproksimasi. Solusi aproksimasi dalam bentuk deret pangkat terpotong mempunyai interval konvergensi yang terbatas, sehingga diterapkan pendekatan Laplace-Pade untuk memperbesar interval konvergensi tersebut. Selanjutnya, diberikan contoh model evolusi kebiasaan merokok di Spanyol dalam bentuk sistem persamaan diferensial untuk memberikan ilustrasi penggunaan metode transformasi diferensial beserta modifikasinya.

Differential transformation method is a numerical method used to solve many kinds of differential equation with initial conditions. In order to obtain the solution of a differential equation, the first step would be to transform the differential equation along with its initial conditions into the differential transformation form, then with the inverse of differential transformation formula, the solution could be retrieved in the form of power series. If the power series is reduced to some finite terms, then the solution given is called approximate solution. Approximate solution in the form of truncated power series has a limited interval of convergence, thus Laplace-Pade approach is used to extend the interval of convergence. Furthermore, an example about the model of evolution of smoking habit in Spain is given in the form of differential equation system to illustrate the utility of differential transformation method as well as its modification.
