HUBUNGAN EKSPRESI INTERLEUKIN 6 MUKOSA KOLON DENGAN DERAJAT KEPARAHAN KOLITIS ULSERATIF MENGGUNAKAN KLASIFIKASI MONTREAL

Latar Belakang. Kolitis ulseratif seperti penyakit Crohn mempunyai fase-fase dalam perjalanan penyakitnya yaitu fase aktif atau remisi. Untuk menilai derajat keparahan yang berhubungan dengan fase penyakit kolitis ulseratif dapat digunakan berbagai perasat, diantaranya adalah skor Truelove and Witts, skor Mayo dan klasifikasi Montreal. Interleukin 6 merupakan sitokin proinflamasi yang produksinya diinduksi pada fase akut. Hasil biopsi mukosa kolon pasien kolitis ulseratif dengan orang normal memperlihatkan peningkatan kadar sitokin proinflamasi, dengan kadar yang lebih tinggi pada area yang inflamasi. Tujuan Penelitian. mengetahui hubungan antara antara ekspresi interleukin 6 dengan beratnya penyakit kolitis ulseratif menggunakan klasifikasi Montreal. Metode. cross sectional (potong lintang) yang menganalisa hubungan antara ekspresi interleukin 6 dengan beratnya kolitis ulseratif berdasarkan klasifikasi Montreal. Pengecatan immunohistokimia dilakukan pada jaringan biopsi untuk mengetahui persentase ekspresi IL-6, intensitas pewarnaanya, dan perhitungan skor pewarnaan interleukin 6 pada sampel penelitian. Waktu penelitian dimulai Januari 2017 sampai jumlah sampel terpenuhi. Hasil diuji dengan SPSS. Hasil Penelitian. Penilaian intensitas kelompok kolitis ulseratif ringan 1 subjek dengan intensitas lemah dan 16 subjek dengan intensitas sedang-kuat (5,88% dan 94,11%). Penilaian kelompok kolitis ulseratif sedang-berat juga mendapat kelompok intensitas sedang-kuat lebih banyak dibanding lemah (81,81% dan 18,18%). Akan tetapi, analisis statistik antara kedua kelompok tidak mendapatkan perbedaan yang bermakna (p=0,543). Rerata nilai ekspresi interleukin 6 yang sedikit lebih tinggi pada kelompok kolitis ulseratif dengan derajat ringan dibandingkan sedang-berat (279,8 dan 301,62). Kesimpulan. Tidak terdapat perbedaan bermakna antara ekspresi interleukin 6 mukosa kolon dengan derajat keparahan kolitis ulseratif menggunakan skor Montreal

Cross sectional analysis that analyzed the relationship between interleukin 6 expression and the severity of ulcerative colitis based on the Montreal classification.
