PEMANFAATAN PANAS KOMPOR GUNUNG UNTUK PENGKONVERSIAN ENERGI PANAS MENJADI ENERGI LISTRIK DENGAN MODUL PELTIER

Akhir-akhir ini, aktivitas pendakian gunung semakin banyak dan sumber energi listrik yang tersedia di gunung sangat terbatas. Biasanya pendaki gunung membawa smartphone yang hanya memiliki kapasitas baterai yang terbatas. Selain itu, setiap pendakian gunung biasanya membawa kompor gunung yang panasnya hanya digunakan untuk memasak, padahal panas yang dihasilkan dapat diubah menjadi energi listrik. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka dibuatlah kompor gunung termoelektrik. Alat ini memanfaatkan panas yang dihasilkan dari kompor gunung kemudian diubah menjadi energi listrik yang dapat digunakan untuk mengisi baterai smartphone. Prinsip kerja kompor gunung termoelektrik yaitu dengan cara mengubah gradien temperatur panas yang berasal dari kompor gunung dan dingin yang berasal dari udara sekitar menjadi energi listrik DC. Berdasarkan pengujian, kompor gunung termoelektrik paling optimal digunakan di lapangan dengan panci. Tegangan yang dihasilkan sebesar 8,2 volt dengan kuat arus sebesar 0,81 ampere sehingga mampu mengisi baterai smartphone.

Lately, mountain climbing activities are increasing and the energy resources in the mountain are very limited. mountain climbers usually bring a smartphone that only has limited battery capacity. In addition, mountain climber usually brings a stove that is only used for cooking, whereas the heat that produced can be converted into electrical energy. Based on these problems, then we made a thermoelectric mountain stove. This tool take advantages heat which produced by the stove mount then it converted into electrical energy that can be used to charge the smartphone battery. The working principle of thermoelectric mountain stove by changing the temperature gradient of heat from the stove and cold from the air into dc electrical energy. Based on the test, the most optimal thermoelectric mountain stove is used in the field with a pan. Electrical density that produced is 8,2 volt, with electric curent 0,81 ampere, so the smartphone's battery is capable to be charged.
