Pada era modern ini, survei online semakin banyak digunakan untuk memperoleh data. Efisiensi dan penghematan biaya menjadi salah satu faktor penting dalam penggunaan survei online. Namun, survei online memiliki kelemahan dalam hal validasi responden. Tidak bertemu secara langsung antara pihak yang melakukan survei dengan responden menjadikan tidak adanya kontrol terhadap responden yang mengisi survei. Terlebih jika pihak pembuat survey tidak melibatkan surveyor yang secara langsung turun ke lapangan untuk mengawasi persebaran survey. Ditambah jika survei yang dilakukan berkaitan dengan pengambilan data terhadap responden yang berada pada wilayah tertentu. Maka berdasarkan masalah tersebut dibuatlah sebuah Sistem Informasi Survei Online Berbasis Lokasi yang dapat membaca lokasi responden dan juga medapatkan data responden khususnya foto, yang dapat berguna untuk menunjukan bahwa data memang berasal dari wilayah dan penduduk yang berada pada wilayah yang diinginkan. Sistem informasi ini dibangun dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dengan framework Codeigniter, HTML, JavaScript dan MySQL untuk basis data. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, implementasi, dan pengujian, secara keseluruhan Sistem Informasi Survei Online Berbasis Lokasi ini dapat mendapatkan dan memberikan informasi berupa lokasi responden yang dapat ditampilkan secara berkelompok menurut lokasi pada peta dan foto responden

In this modern era, online survey is widely used to obtain data. Efficiency and cost savings are important factors in using online survey. However, online surveys have weakness in term of respondent validatoin. There is no direct meeting between the researchers who did the survey with respondents make there is no control with the respondents who answer the surveys. Moreover ,if the party who make survey do not involve surveyor who can directly control the spread of survey. Plus if the survey which is conducted, related to data collection to respondents who are in a particular region. Based on the problems above, Online Survey Information System Based on Location was built to be able to read respondent location and also gather respondent data especially photo, which can be used to show the data is indeed from the wanted area and people from the wanted area. This information system is created by using combined language program of PHP with CodeIgniter framework, HTML, Javascript and MySQL for database processing. Based on the analysis, implementation and testing, the entire system can be obtained and provide information about location, which is displayed in group based on location on a map, and respondent photo.
