Abstract There are many news sites in the name of Islam in Indonesia. Some of them is Arrahmah.com and Arrahmahnews.com. Islam is the basic ideology as a fondation of their media, but there are some contradiction in the contents of the news between Arrahmah.com dan Arrahmahnews.com, such as news about the executions Al Nimr. Al Nimr is the leader of Syiah In Arab Saudi who has been executed by Saudis Government in January 2016. There are pros and cons about the executions and it was reported by foreign media and the Indonesian media, including Islamic news sites. Arrahmah.com and Arrahmahnews.com is the media object in this thesis. Islamic Media is rarely researched these day, whereas those media grows and shows many news every day. Construction of reality in Islam news sites become one of the important thing to be seen in this thesis. Discourse analysis as a tool to see the construction of reality and a discourse in the news becomes a methodology in this thesis. What kind of discourse and the construction of reality in the news about the execution of death sentences Al Nimr will be described in this thesis.
