Eksistensi Serikat Buruh Migran Indonesia(SBMI) Wonosobo dalam Pra-Keberangkatan Tenaga Kerja Indonesia(TKI) Informal di Kabupaten Wonosobo

ABSTRACT Informal TKI placement abroad actually a negative response from innabiliy government policy to absorb increasing labor which happened in every year. In this cased, Wonosobo regency contribute high informal TKI placement from Indonesia. Uniqly, informal TKI placement problems start from pre-departure section. Event though governments, business entities and civil society organizations have been present in that phase, it haven’t be able to handle that’s problems. Data collection techniques in this qualitative research method through observation, interviews, library research and also documentation. Focuses on this study is viewed SBMI Wonosobo existence, especially in the pre-departure of informal TKI in Wonosobo. Data in this study used validity test triangulation method from indepth interview result from 11 informant, combine with relevant litetature. Based from socialization and advocacy of safe migration from SBMI Wonosobo, indicate that existences of SBMI Wonosobo in the pre-departure TKI seen as a counterweight organization. There are two type of SBMI Wonosobo advocacy. First is case advocacy and second is policy advocacy. The first adcocacy already well, but need to optimized. But the second do not run optimally. The existence of SBMI Wonosobo can be strengthened with intensive cooperation with the government, business sector, academic institutions and other civil society organizations engaged in international labor migration issues.
