ABSTRACT Women at has already had freedom in expressing ideals with careers. Activity not only to dwell upon household affairs but have been able to contribute in the development. Development as things are covered various fields such as social law, political and military. Birth a Military Academy Women Cadet in 2013 is the effort for military to to stimulate the development of. Policies that responsive gender is during is a discussion interesting. With the sacred printing this is gait women in the military that have been be icon men studied from the point of view of gender mainstreaming. This research trying to analyze gender mainstreaming in the military with the birth of a Military Academy Women Cadet. Hence formulation problems in accordance with this research is [1] why a military academy delivery a Military Academy Women Cadet in the neighborhood education? [2] do policy is in line with gender mainstreaming ? This research in a qualitative descriptive in order to make this research can discuss problems in detail. The core or the existence a Military Academy Women Cadet trying to described in detail. The cause of birth a Military Academy Women Cadet will be explained. Then to hindemith data collection was carried out by observation, in-depth interviews. Informants involved here is officials Military Academy own lecturers, and a Military Academy Women Cadet. While his theory gender mainstreaming used as the basis of this research. An instrument in measuring gender equality as gender analysis pathway ( GAP ) a good benchmark to see the extent to which gender equality has been run. The result showed that the aspirations of a Military Academy Women Cadet in some measure can be satisfactory. In the field found change in the policy who responded by rapidly by a military academy to be more responsive to women needs.
