In order to fulfill their needs related to looks, styles and other things that could support his metrosexual lifestyle, men tend to use media as a source of information. As an audience, metrosexuals may actively involve in choosing the media that favor their needs the best from the large variety of media and technology. Thus this research tries to understand the tendency about metrosexual’s media selection related to their use of media to supports the lifestyle. The impression of one’s social and culture background is something that needs to be considered in media use. Ethnography is chosen as the best method to see human as a whole, it includes everything relates to one’s background to be considered. The highlighted dynamics of this research is the relation of the metrosexual’s lifestyle with their social culture background and their tendency of media use that supports the needs of the lifestyle itself. The supports in this discussion refers to the consumption process that might be done by the metrosexuals. In order to fill this, media has become one of the best source of information and references. This research tries to understand the media habit of metrosexual men, particularly about the use of information that may supports their lifestyle.
