Negosiasi Pemerintah Filipina – Milf Eera Benigno Aquino III

It has cost so many lives, drained the government’s coffer, and adversely set back progress in so many areas of the country. The conflict that occurred in Mindanao is able to exist due to the suppression, exploitation, disregard and discrimination experienced by the Moros for a very long time, as long as they have been with the Philippines. The Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) is split from the MNLF in 1977. The MILF has a long-term aim of creating a separate Islamic state in the southern Philippines, the group may well settle for a certain degree of Muslim Autonomy. The Peace negotiation between the Government Republic oh the Philippines and the secessionist MILF in 1997. Presently, under Benigno Aquino III the government is engaged in peace negotiations with the movement’s largest contigent MILF to thresh out related concerns and carefully resolve the problems. Ethnic civil wars in particular appear to be difficult to resolve with negotiated Settlements. In this paper, the authors will describe the process of negotiations between the GPH-MILF and the obstacles encountered during the negotiation process.
