TERJEMAHAN CERITA ANAK DALAM BUKU ATARASHII KOKU GO : SEKAI ICHI UTSUKUSHII BOKU NO MURA DAN UMIGAME NO HAMA WO MAMORU

Tugas Akhir ini berjudul "Terjemahan Cerita Anak Sekai Ichi Utsukushii Boku No Mura dan Umigame No Hama Wo Mamoru" yang terdapat dalam buku Atarashii Koku Go. Buku tersebut adalah buku teks bahasa Jepang untuk kelas empat sekolah dasar di Jepang. Bab 1 yaitu Sekai Ichi Utsukushii Boku no Mura yang ditulis oleh Kobayashi Yutaka menceritakan seorang anak laki-laki bernama Yamo yang berbicara tentang keindahan desa Paguman di Afghanistan, dan kekhawatiran Yamo pada kakaknya yang sedang berperang. Bab 2 yaitu Umigame no Hama wo Mamoru yang ditulis oleh Shimizu Tatsuya adalah sebuah cerita tentang kegiatan melindungi pantai pasir tempat penyu dapat bertelur. Warga Omaezaki di Prefektur Tokushima membersihkan pantai pasir, dan penyu kembali ke tempat nya setiap tahunnya. Buku ini dipilih sebagai tema terjemahan karena cerita dalam buku ini sangat mudah dimengerti dan menarik untuk anak-anak. Di dalam cerita ini juga terdapat pesan moral, yang ditujukan pada anak-anak yang membacanya. Dalam menerjemahkan buku cerita anak tersebut terdapat beberapa kendala. Salah satunya kesulitan untuk memilih kata-kata yang tepat dari bahasa Indonesia untuk membuat isi teks asli mudah dimengerti untuk dibaca.

The title of this final paper is " The Translation of children's story Sekai Ichi Boku No Mura and Umigame No Hama Wo Mamoru in a Japanese language textbook of elementary school fourth grader in Japan, as a Atarashii Koku Go. The " Sekai Ichi Boku No Mura" by Kobayashi Yutaka tell about a boy named Yamo talking about the beauty of Pagome village in Afghanistan, and he is concern of his brother. "Umigame No Hama Wo Mamoru" written by Shimizu Tatsuya is a story to protect the sand beach where sea turtles can lay eggs. People of Omaezaki in Tokushima Prefecture cleanse the sand beach and every year the sea turtle returns home. This book has been selected because that the story of this book was easy to understand and interesting. Since these moral messages are put in these works, I hoped that children in Indonesia would read it. In translating this stories, there are some obstacles. It was difficult to choose appropriate words from the Indonesian language to make the contents of the original text easy to understand for reading.
