Tugas Akhir ini berjudul Terjemahan Enam Judul Dongeng Anak dari Mama Ohanashi Motto Shite 1. karya Yoshiko Hamashima. Buku Mama Ohanashi Motto Shite 1 merupakan kumpulan dongeng yang ditujukan tidak hanya untuk anak-anak tetapi orang dewasa dapat juga menikmati dongengnya. Penerjemah telah menerjemahkan enam cerita yang berjudul Kitsune to Tanuki no Bakekurabe, Doushite Mimizu ni Me ga Naika, Hebi no Kenka, Neko to Kani ni Kakekurabe, Saru no Cyuusai, Mukade ni Doushite Ippai Asi ga Aru no. Enam judul cerita tersebut berjenis fabel. Buku ini dipilih karena banyak terdapat pesan moral. Pesan moral yang terdapat dalam cerita dapat mengajarkan anak untuk memetik pelajaran yang baik. Contoh pesan moral yang terdapat dalam terjemahan Mama Ohanashi Motto Shite 1 salah satunya dalam cerita Hebi no Kenka dan Saru no Cyuusai. Pesan moral yang dapat dipetik yaitu jangan menjadi pribadi yang serakah karena pada akhirnya tidak mendapatkan apa-apa. Dalam menerjemahkan buku Mama Ohanashi Motto Shite 1 terdapat kendala yaitu penggunaan dialek daerah. Hal tersebut menjadi tantangan penerjemah dalam mencari padanan kata dalam bahasa Indonesia agar mudah dimengerti. Hasil terjemahan ini diharapkan menjadi buku referensi tambahan bagi para Ibu di Indonesia untuk mendongengkan hasil terjemahan ini kepada anak.

The final task entitled compilation of six title fairytales from fairytales compilation of Mama Ohanashi Motto Shite 1. The six title is Kitsune to Tanuki no Bakekurabe, Doushite Mimizu ni Me ga Naika, Hebi no Kenka, Neko to Kani ni Kakekurabe, Saru no Cyuusai, Mukade ni Doushite Ippai Asi ga Aru no. This book is not only dedicated for children but also adult, who can enjoy the story behind. Mama Ohanashi Motto Shite 1 consist of six fable story. The book choosen because of the story inside get a lot of morally value. The exemple is story of Hebi no Kenka and Saru no Cyusai. The morally value inside it is dont be greedy. Greedy is a kind of bad personality that cant get anything in the last. This book is consists of many pictures so it is interesting for the children who read it. The translation process occurs some difficulties such as local dialect. It becomes the task of translater to look for the same word in Indonesian, in order to make the translation easy to understand. The result of this translation dedicted for Indonesians mother who want to give her children story telling.
