PERENCANAAN RUANG PENYIMPANAN BERKAS REKAM MEDIS RSUD KABUPATEN SIDOARJO DENGAN SISTEM SENTRALISASI

Latar Belakang: Rumah sakit harus menyediakan ruang penyimpanan berkas rekam medis atau disebut ruang filing untuk memelihara berkas rekam medis. Sistem penyimpanan berkas rekam medis yang digunakan di RSUD Kabupaten Sidoarjo adalah desentralisasi. Rumah sakit melakukan rencana perubahan dengan menggunakan sistem sentralisasi agar data riwayat penyakit pasien lebih terintegritas dan kontinyu, sehingga fungsi rekam medis sebagai alat komunikasi antar tenaga kesehatan lebih maksimal. Rumah sakit membutuhkan penghitungan jumlah rak dan gambaran layout ruang penyimpanan berkas rekam medis untuk melakukan perubahan sistem penyimpanan berkas rekam medis. Tujuan: Merencanakan kebutuhan ruang penyimpanan berkas rekam medis dengan sistem sentralisasi untuk jangka waktu lima tahun di RSUD Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi prediksi. Subjek penelitian adalah petugas rekam medis. objek penelitian adalah berkas rekam medis, dokumen terkait, dan ruang filing. Hasil: Terdapat beberapa hal yang mempengaruhi sistem penyimpanan berkas di RSUD Kabupaten Sidoarjo, yaitu kunjungan pasien, tebal berkas, kondisi ruangan, rak yang digunakan, dan sistem penyimpanan. Rumah sakit menyediakan dua ruangan dengan luas masing-masing ruangan 240 m2. Total luas ruangan yang dipersiapkan adalah 480 m2. Untuk perencanaan ruang rekam medis dengan sistem sentralisasi terdapat dua alternatif. Alternatif pertama menggunakan rak kayu dengan rak tambahan yang dibutuhkan 120 rak dan membutuhkan space ruang seluruhnya adalah 432 m2. Alternatif kedua menggunakan roll o'pack dengan tambahan roll o'pack yang dibutuhkan adalah 12 unit dan membutuhkan space ruang seluruhnya 376 m2. Kesimpulan: Terdapat dua alternatif untuk perencanaan ruang filing dengan sistem sentralisasi, yang pertama dengan rak kayu saja dan yang kedua dengan rak kayu serta roll o'pack.

Background: A hospital should be provides enough storage room or we usually called it filing room for saving all the medical records. RSUD Kabupaten Sidoarjo use decentralization system to save the patient medical records. The hospital plans to change the storage saving system to centralization so that the patient health information can be more continues and integrated and the function of the medical record as a communication tools between a health officers well fulfilled. To make changes to the medical record file storage system, it is necessary to calculate the number of shelves and the layout of the storage room. Objective: Plans the need of medical record storage room with centralization system that provides five year saving at RSUD Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Method: This research use descriptive qualitative method with prediction study design. The subject of this research are medical record officers. The object of this research are medical records, related documents, and the filing rooms. Results: There are several things that influences the process of saving medical records at RSUD Kabupaten Sidoarjo, those are the number of patient visit, the thickness of the file, saving room condition, shelf option, and the saving system itself. The hospital provide two rooms with 240 m2 large for each room with total wide of both rooms are 480 m2 large. For the centralization storage room plans, there are two alternatives. The first alternative use wooden shelves. The hospital needs to add 120 shelves and need space with 432 m2 large. The second alternative use roll o'pack. The hospital needs to add 12 unite of roll o'pack and need space with 376 m2 large. Conclusions: For the centralization storage room plans, there are two alternatives. The first one use wooden shelves only and the second one use wooden shelves and roll o'pack.
