PENGGUNAAN MOVING AVERAGE UNTUK MENGETAHUI TREND DAN KEPUTUSAN BELI ATAU JUAL EMAS

Moving average merupakan salah satu indikator yang sering digunakan dalam analisis teknikal. Moving average digunakan untuk membaca trend pergerakan harga emas sehingga dapat digunakan untuk pengambilan keputusan beli atau jual. Cara kerja moving average adalah dengan menghitung nilai rata-rata bergerak pada penutupan harga (closing price) dari periode tertentu yang kemudian akan menampilkan garis sebagai batas bawah (support) dan batas atas (resistance) dari pergerakan harga. Data yang digunakan adalah data pergerakan harga emas bulanan periode Januari sampai Desember 2016. Hasil analisis yang ditunjukkan dengan menggunakan indikator moving average konsisten untuk membuat keputusan beli atau jual pada perdagangan emas di pasar berjangka.

Moving averages is one of the indicators which is frequently used in technical analysis. Moving averages are used to read the trend of price movements of gold that can be used to make buy or sell decisions. How it works is by calculating the moving average value on the closing price from a specific period which afterward show the line as a lower limit (support) and upper (resistance) of the price movement. The data used is the monthly gold price movement data from January to December 2016. The results of the analysis indicated that using the moving average indicator is consistent to make a decision to buy or sell the gold trade in the futures market.
