Perbedaan semen resin self-adhesive dan konvensional yang mengandung self-curing activator terhadap kekuatan geser perlekatan reparasi resin komposit packable dengan resin komposit indirek

2017 | Tesis-Spesialis | SP ILMU KONSERVASI GIGIReparasi restorasi resin komposit packable yang mengalami penuaan menggunakan resin komposit indirek membutuhkan bantuan pelekatan berupa semen resin, baik semen resin self-adhesive maupun konvensional. Saat ini, komponen berupa self-curing activator seperti sodium p-toluene sulfinate telah ditambahkan pada semen resin dengan tujuan meningkatkan polimerisasi semen resin dan meningkatkan kekuatan bonding. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan semen resin self-adhesive dan semen resin konvensional yang mengandung self-curing activator terhadap kekuatan geser pelekatan pada reparasi restorasi resin komposit packable. Pada penelitian ini digunakan 40 spesimen resin komposit packable yang telah mengalami penuaan berupa perendaman spesimen dalam larutan asam sitrat pH 3,0 selama 1 minggu pada suhu 37oC. Spesimen tersebut direparasi dengan resin komposit indirek yang dilekatkan dengan semen resin. Empat puluh spesimen tersebut dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, kelompok 1 adalah kelompok spesimen yang nantinya dilekatkan dengan semen resin self adhesive dan silane, kelompok 2 adalah spesimen yang dilekatkan dengan semen resin konvensional yang mengandung self-curing activator dan bahan bonding universal. Spesimen dilakukan uji kekuatan geser pelekatan. Data dari uji kekuatan geser pelekatan dianalisis menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney. Hasil uji Mann-Whitney menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan bermakna antara kelompok semen resin self-adhesive dan konvensional yang mengandung self-curing activator terhadap kekuatan geser pelekatan reparasi resin komposit packable dengan resin komposit indirek (p<0,05).
Repair of old damaged composite resin restoration with indirect composite resin needs resin cement even self-adhesive or conventional for restoration bonding. Nowadays, a self-curing activator such as sodium p-toluene sulfinate has been added into resin cement to enhance polymerization and bond strength. The difference between self-adhesive resin cement and conventional resin cement which contains self-curing activator to the shear bond strength of packable composite resin repair is interesting to be researched out. Forty aged packable composite resin specimens were used to be repaired using indirect composite resin with . The packable composite resin specimens had been artificially aged by one-week citric acid immersion at pH 3,0 and temperature 37OC. Specimens were repaired with indirect composite resin using resin cement as a luting agent. Forty specimens were divided into two groups, group 1 consists specimens which were going to be repaired using self-adhesive resin cement and silane, group 2 consists specimens which were going to be repaired using conventional resin cement contained self-curing activator and universal bonding agent. The shear bond strength of repaired specimens was tested using Universal Testing Machine (UTM). Data of shear bond strength were analyzed using Mann-Whitney test.The result of the test revealed that there are no differences between self-adhesive resin cement group and conventional resin cement contained self-curing activator group (p<0,05).
