ANALISIS APLIKASI KASIR SEBAGAI INSTRUMEN SISTEM INFORMASI AKUNTANSI DI KAFE "DONGENG KOPI" DALAM ARUS PENERIMAAN KAS

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kemampuan aplikasi kasir kafe "Dongeng Kopi" dalam menyajikan laporan penerimaan kas serta menganalisis kinerja aplikasi kasir yang digunakan dalam menyajikan laporan penerimaan kas. Kafe "Dongeng Kopi" merupakan kedai khusus menjual kopi. Kafe ini mulai beroperasi sejak bulan November tahun 2014 hingga saat ini. Kegiatan operasional jual-beli di kafe "Dongeng Kopi" menuntut sistem kasir yang baik sebagai salah satu instrumen sistem informasi akuntansi dalam menyediakan laporan penjualan. Laporan penjualan yang dihasilkan oleh aplikasi kasir di kafe "Dongeng Kopi" menjadi salah satu bagian dalam laporan arus kas masuk di kafe "Dongeng Kopi". Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah dokumentasi, wawancara, serta triangulasi data dari dokumentasi dan wawancara. Narasumber dalam penelitian adalah pemilik kafe, store manager, serta bagian keuangan. Data yang telah terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik PIECES (Performance, Information, Economy, Control, Eficiency, Service). Hasil penelititan yang dilakukan membuktikan bahwa aplikasi yang digunakan memiliki banyak kelebihan dengan sistem kasir manual yang membutuhkan waktu lebih lama untuk menghasilkan laporan penjualan untuk laporan arus kas. Kelebihan dari aplikasi yang digunakan juga disertai dengan kekurangan pada sektor sumber daya manusia. Kekurangan dalam sistem ini dapat diatasi dengan mengedukasi sumber daya manusia yang menggunakan aplikasi agar mendapatkan hasil yang lebih maksimal.

This study was conducted to determine the applicability of the cafe cashier "Dongeng Kopi" in presenting the statement of cash receipts and analyze application performance cashier used in presenting the report of cash receipts. Cafe "Dongeng Kopi" is a shop selling specialty coffee. The cafe is in operation since November 2014 to the present. The operational activities of buying and selling in the cafe "Dongeng Kopi" demands a good cashier system as one of the instruments in the accounting information system providing sales reports. The sales report generated by the application of the cashier at the cafe "Dongeng Kopi" became a part of the cash flow statement entered in the cafe "Dongeng Kopi". The data collection technique is using documentation, interviews, and triangulation of data from documentation and interviews. Informant in this research is the owner of the cafe, store managers, and finance department. The collected data were analyzed using the technique PIECES (Performance, Information, Economy, Control, Efficiency, Service). Results penelititan conducted proving that the application used to have many advantages with the cashier system manually which takes longer to generate sales reports for the statement of cash flows. The advantages of the program used is also accompanied by a shortage of human resources in the sector. Deficiencies in the system can be overcome by educating human resources using the application in order to obtain maximum results.
