Production Forest Management Unit (PFMU) of Kapuas Hulu is one of site-based forest management area. Those area have six work forest function. Based on its function the dominant area are protected forest, limited production forest, and production forest. More activities which done in the areas can effect the life of wildlife, both directly and indirectly. One of them is herpetofaua. Actually they can be used as bio-indicator for environment health. The objective of research were to know diversity and spatial distribution of herpetofauna in various function of forest in PFMU of Kapuas Hulu. The research was done in protected forest, production forest, and limited production forest. Species diversity data of herpetofauna was obtained by Visual Encounter Survey (VES) which modified transect. The average of transect length is 1 km. The method to determine herpetofauna spatial distribution obtained by direct observation and recorded the coordinats position where herpetofauna was found. All coordinats were overlayed on the PFMU of Kapuas Hulu map used ArcGis. The distribution pattern using Dispersion index and Green index. The result showed there are 86 herpetofauna consist of 36 Aphibians and 50 reptiles species. Shannon-Wiener diversity index of herpetofauna on the protected forest was 3,0143, on the limited protected forest was 3,1668 and on the production forest was 2,4698. Shannon-Wiener diversity index on the protected forest and limited production forest is high level. Whereas diversity index on the production forest is moderate level. The distribution pattern was clumped with Dispersion index 11,869 and Green index 0,362
