Perilaku batang tarik rangka kuda-kuda kayu laminasi sengon-keruing pengaruh penempatan perletakan

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perilaku dan perkuatan/ perlemahan balok tarik kuda-kuda kayu laminasi sengon-keruing (Mimosaceae- Dipterocarpaceae) akibat penempatan perletakan dan menggunakan kayu mutu tinggi sebagai bahan perkuatan. Penelitian pendahuluan telah dilakukan untuk mengetahui sifat-sifat fisik dan mekanik serta kekuatan rekat kayu sengon-sengon dan sengon-keruing, standar pengujian yang digunakan ISO-1975. Benda uji balok tarik kayu laminasi terdiri dari 12 batang memiliki dimensi lebar 80 mm, tinggi 160 dan panjang 2500 mm. Komposisi laminasi dibuat variasi rasio kayu keruing terhadap balok 0% dan 25% dan variasi jarak perletakan 1500 mm dan 2100mm. Perekatan antar lapisan papan-papan kayu digunakan perekat thermoset Urea Formaldehida (UA-104) dengan jumlah perekat terlabur 60/MDGL atau 322,23 gram/m2 dengan tekanan kempa 1 sampai 1,1 MPa. Pembebanan lateral statik diberikan secara bertahap sampai balok mengalami runtuh atau sampai batas kapasitas maksimum alat yang tersedia. Perilaku balok tarik kayu laminasi yang diamati adalah peningkatan pembebanan yang diberikan terhadap displacement horisontal diujung-ujung balok dan displacement vertikal ditengah bentang serta jenis keruntuhan yang terjadi. Dari hasil uji pendahuluan dapat disampaikan bahwa kayu sengon termasuk kelas kuat IV dan kayu keruing kelas kuat II. Hasil uji struktur memperlihatkan bahwa batang tarik kuda-kuda kayu laminasi sengon-keruing mengalami perubahan arah displacement horisontal kearah dalam (2,79 mm dan 0,35 mm) dan peningkatan displacement vertikal sebesar 38,03% dan 273,42% serta kapasitas balok tarik laminasi menurun 33,71% dan 18,00% pada saat perletakan berada 300mm diluar titik simpul. Pemakaian rasio kayu keruing 25% ternyata dapat memperkecil displacement horisontal pada balok tarik laminasi sebesar 58,50% dan 87,59% dan memperkecil displacement vertikal pada balok tarik laminasi sebesar 63,18% dan 0,40% serta meningkatkan kapasitas balok tarik laminasi 16,29% dan 43,85%.

The purpose of this research is to know the behaviour and reinforcement/weakening of tensile beam on framework of sengon-keruing laminated wood (Mimosaceae-Dipterocarpaceae) effect placement of support and using high quality wood as a reinforcement material. The early research has been conducted to know physical and mechanical properties as well as bonding strength of sengon-sengon and sengon-keruing wood, the testing standard used is ISO- 1975. Sample test of laminated-wood consisting of 12 (twelve) beams with dimension of 80x160x2500 mm (width, thickness and length). The ratio of keruing to wood beam thickness were 0% and 25%. The distance variation of support 1500 mm and 2100 mm. Lamination of cross-layer of wood-boards used glue of thermoset Urea Formaldehyde (UA-104) with number of diluted glue 60/MDGL or 322.23 gram/m2 with hydraulic press 1 to 1.1 MPa. Static lateral loading was gradually given up to failure or until the maximum capacity limit of existing equipment. The tensile behaviour of the beam was the increasing type when horizontal displacement measure at the end of beam and vertical displacement was at mid span of the beam until failure. The research result showed that sengon was included into class IV of wood strengths, while keruing was class II. The result of structure test showed that tensile beam on framework of sengon-keruing laminated wood experiencing the course change of horizontal displacement toward inside 38.03% and 273.42% as well as its capacity decreasing to 33.71% and 18.00% when the support at 300 mm outside conclusion point. The usage of ratio of keruing timber on laminated tensile beam could lower horizontal displacement as large as 58.50% and 87.59% and lowering vertical displacement as large as 63.18% and 0.40% as well as its capacity increasing to 16.29% and 43.85%.
